Alien: Isolation...

I only know of two DLC's...what are the other two?
They have not announced those other 2 yet I saw a press release which said there are 4 DLC packs planned & 1 is exclusive (to Game in UK). To be fair Game are giving you 2 of the DLC packs if you pre-order the other 2 who knows what they are but as its SP only most likely 2 more missions based on the first movie.

Also you have to pre-order the retail version @ Game to get these 2 DLC missions its not available to digital pre-orders for some reason :( obviously a few months after they will let you buy all of this DLC (its obviously a cynical way to get people to pre-order though as no way they suddenly decide to hire Sigourney Weaver for new dialog & get the rights to the other Alien actors do they  ).

The Game pre-order only applies to the physical version, I'm guessing?
Correct its only available as a physical pre-order bonus for some reason (probably because its £38 vs £31 pre-order on Steam without the exclusive).

If you wait 3-4 months after release it will become a buyable DLC item eventually they always are but can take more than 2 months sometimes up to 6 months

Sega planned this very carefully as it appears to be the exclusive DLC with the Sigourney Weaver new voiceover..........

Screw it, I'm not pre-ordering this (or anything else for that matter).

I'll change my mind by tomorrow morning.

No I won't.

Pre-order DLC?

No way. This has put me RIGHT off touching this game until well after release when hopefully the reviews are positive and the price has come down.

Shame on companies for doing this.

Pre-order bonus info is out apparently a couple of special missions with original cast member voices:eek::D

'Last Survivor' sounds Epic:cool:

Day 1 DLC and thats it???????????? That should have been an unlockable bonus.

**** you CA, would have preordered but now its gonna be a £3.49 job in the next sale.

Most of the people going 'omg gonna preorder lolz' are possibly the same people decrying preordering in other threads.

Remember peeps, Rome 2 was not as advertised as it was in trailers! CA have learnt from the best via E3 trailers will do it again and again till you realise.

CA are dishonest the game they did last time (some crap rpg) they knew it was a shambles and disowned the game after a few weeks lol. And thier core franchise history is not pretty either going back to Empire and then Rome. And Sega's previous attempts this is what these people do with big AAA games in that they hype it and then do a runner and let the IP sit for ten years.

Either the game is polished and 3.5 hours long or it will be a complete turd. If CA actually make a good game given Sega's time contraints and whipping i will eat my sock.

People said things about Wolfenstein too though, look at that now, truly an excellent SP shooter and loved by many :)

Ofcourse, but Wolfenstein's Developers where a fairly new team with a proven track record for decent, working games and Bethesda (for the most part) are a fairly honest Publisher. CA's last game was Total War Rome 2... I still have nightmares about buying that on release. And Sega... well, Sega.

fairly honest Publisher.

Sorry, but no. Bethesda releases some great games, but the ugly stuff they are pulling repeatedly, with Notch, with Oculus, with Skyrim on PS3, with Human Head and Prey 2, with Arkane, with Obsidian, with Inxile...

They are nasty a company with horrible management.

I am still buying Dishonored 2 and Fallout 4 though.

I actually forgot about the Prey 2 and Obsidian incidents... you're absolutely right xD

I still rate them though. They're willing to take risks on game's like Dishonoured where other publishers perhaps might not have.

It's a big shame there will be no multiplayer on this. WOuld have been great to have a "Last Man Standing" kind of mode where 4 people are competing against each other to survive the alien, while getting it to attack others.

I'm only going to pre-order to get the Last Survivor DLC, the whole thought of playing Ripley from the point where she decides to destruct the Nostromo and then get back to the Narcissus safely appeals massively.

I wonder if you need to rescue Jones to succeed!

You did in the 1982 game. Better yet, only Ripley could catch Jones, so it's a good job she could never be the android. :D

wont be buying this on release despite being very hyped for anything in the aliens universe.

Will wait to see how user reviews pan out, if its just an outlast/slender game in a alien skin then that wont be enough to keep me entertained im afraid.

I've really had to fight hard to not pre order this, but I have just lost faith in so many games when they've turned out crap or nothing like promised.
