Alien: Isolation...

I've preorded just for the DLC on the nostromo!

Nostromo Edition includes the Crew Expendable Bonus Content – Choose to play as one of three surviving crewmembers, only moments after Brett’s death at the jaws of the creature. As Ellen Ripley, Dallas or Parker, you can explore the Nostromo from habitation deck down through engineering, coordinating efforts with Lambert and Ash to lure the Alien into the ship’s airlock.

It'll just be like the expansion to star trek elite forces, where you get to explore the ship in all its detail. Can't wait.

My gut said to trust it and so I did and pre-ordered and going by news as it appears my gut appears to have been right!

Likewise. It won't take more than a day for player impressions to start filtering through. Never, ever pre-order anything. Ever :)

I loved Elite Forces:cool: really enjoyed nosing around Voyager! It was also great fun annoying Tuvok and Captain Janeway:o

"You have defied a direct order!":D Cue laser fire and trying to escape the bridge!:o:D

Ha same, superb game. I just hope the DLC on this lives up to what its set by.

I really cannot wait for this. It's going to be a breath of fresh air gaming wise.

A tense game with a bit of problem solving, awesome atmosphere, great sounds and a simple familiar story to tie it all together. Well worth £31.

The first in-depth review i've read of Isolation and it sounds promising...

It's a game that delights in spooking you, using its superb sound design to keep you on edge. The station creaks and groans, computers bloop and crackle, but you soon learn to filter out the noises that spell danger. Heavy padding footsteps, the unmistakable crumpled metallic rumble of something moving in the vents above, the guttural hiss too malevolent for any steam pipe.

You may have a pistol, but ammo is ridiculously sparse (after hours of play I only had 9 bullets to play with) and since loud noises are a great way to attract the Alien, it's not something you'll do unless you have literally no other option.
