Alien: Isolation...

Mhmm, cancelling my Pre-order... don't like the developments with the limited content on release and then expensive DLC etc. Poor show, SEGA.

I'd really love to play this on release but I have plenty of un-played games in my Steam library already. I can wait until it drops to an acceptable price or a 'complete' edition is released, I'm sure it will crop up in a sale or bundle eventually. Maybe it will coincide with the release of the Oculus Rift and be supported by then, I'm in no rush either way.

At this rate I don't think I'll ever buy anything outside a 75% off steam sale again and only then for the complete edition!

Don't know how this makes me feel. On one hand I feel like they've fleeced us, whereas I also feel like I'm getting a demo for the season pass which I wouldnt have bought anyways...

Really wanted to get this for Halloween too as im a huge fan of the first two Alien films.

Anyone else sticking with their pre-order?

People do realise that you still get a single player campaign and that survival mode is just an optional extra that no one is forcing you to buy, right?

Don't get me wrong paid dlc sucks but can't help but think people are being a little too hasty with this one.

I'm sticking with mine. I really want the nostromo edition just so I can explore the ship. Thats worth my money regardless of anything else as I'm a massive alien fan.

I paid a pre-order for Alien Isolaton the story.

Some people are saying it's a short game, which will be a shame. But I think it will still be as awesome as it promises.

I cant wait for this game personally. I don't agree with season passes and add-ons. They're a bit of a fad. Especially for a mature game like Alien Isolation. I understand more for juvenile games. But I still get to play the story which is what I bought it for in the first place. It also looks stunning and the sounds are spot on.

Hah... well... there's a big title off my list of must-buys. They made it impossible. What an obvious cash-grab. At least with Battlefield you get a large game with loads of maps and gametypes at launch, and the DLCs are truly optional smaller bonuses

Are you mad? Battlefield 3-4 has 5-6 DLC's plus all the weapon/gold/pack things they added. I wouldn't even call it a large game, the single player was pretty short and trying to play BF3-4 without the DLC's these days is pretty boring since there is so few servers running the standard maps rotations.

I'm pretty disappointed with the game now, I was expecting a one off payment but it's turned into a other Aliens vs Predator game where you have to buy the game plus all the DLC's maps that no will buy and so no one will play just like Aliens:CM

I won't be buying this game, I will ** No hinting of this sort, thanks **wait till the game is on a sale at a ridiculous price unless the game has some really good multiplayer.

Even then, I expect the online "life" of the game to die a slowly like Aliens:CM.

Wait wut? Pretty much all games do this with DLC. You get the main story campaign as per normal. With that respect you should never buy a game again as they pretty much all have paid for DLC extra lvls etc after release. Dark souls 2 for example, it has what 2-3 different DLC quests that did not come with the main game that you paid for. This is standard in the industry now.

They should have shut up about DLC and mentioned DLC was coming after release because clearly some people are not quite understanding you get the main campaign as per normal.

The biggest thing I don't understand with people cancelling in this thread is that when they preordered they didn't even know of Survivor mode, just the SP. Now they have an option to get Survivor mode albeit at an additional cost but also still play the SP that they preordered for but they are cancelling.

Professional moaners. ;)

I'm hoping this game is good as I want it to be. I don't pre-order games though. I'll wait until I read a review.

I've still got Dark Souls 2 to play and World of Tanks to grind. No idea how I can fit more games in lol.

£20 on dlcompare, i can stomach that, most likely the season pass will be available cheap somewhere shortly after launch.

Will wait for the first few reviews but i'll be hovering over the buy button, want this so bad.
