Alien: Isolation...

Nope not until march 2015 when all DLC is sold seperately its exclusive to Game PC-DVD Rom pre-orders only not the digital version at this stage.

Darn Game! thanks for the info. Cant pass up Zavvi's deal with the free steelbook movie, but then again Game's Ripley edition for £33 is tempting too.

I read a fair few reviews about a month ago stating that the AI/alien was nowhere as complex as they're trying to pass off and it became predictable and repetitive, which I have no idea if it'll make my experience immersion breaking or not, or if it's just a couple reviewers being anal.

We'll see... holding off for release to see what others say :P

IGN have got really whiney lately. He plays the game on hard and then complains that its too difficult. He complements the game by saying that 99% of the aliens movements are unscripted and then says that its too unpredictable? What?

so game's ripley edition does have everything?
Apart from the season pass which is discounted on Steam to £11.99.

So if your Game edition comes before 7th Oct & you register the serial number on Steam in theory you can then buy the season pass for only £11.99 before it goes up to £19.99 full price on 7th Oct.

I am going to try this when mine comes as Steam preload starts soon so if the physical version comes this weekend or Monday it should in theory mean you can upgrade to the £11.99 Season pass pre-order only deal unless Steam can differentiate between physical/digital keys as it does not mention any restriction so in theory any serial no registered to your Steam account should allow the Season Pass pre-order discount.

Not a very big game considering how large Wolfenstein was!

can't say I'm surprised by the review, surely anyone with a functioning brain cell could have worked out that after the initial scare factor it wouldn't be able to maintain that level of suspense and horror.

Woop, my Game preorder has shipped, roll on Tuesday.

Not too bothered about the game length, Im looking for the experience. Besides, it took me 30+ hours to complete The Last of Us on PS3 so I definately dont rush, nor do I understand this speed run nonsense. Is Alien Isolation really a game you bulldoze through?

I bought this on the 15 July, It was the one with the ripley thing i think and you get the original nostromo, I paid £31.99, has the price gone down since? I am confused, It still says I can request a refund as the game hasn't been released, should I cancel and reorder?

When I played the game at Eurogamer, it was hyped up massively there and really failed to deliver. The being stalked by a sodding alien plays off well but I could see would become rather boring fast. The poor textures and frame rates didn't help either. The game just looked overhyped at the show for what it was.

Console version though?

hell that's the X1 version and I see no low res textures there?
