Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

Has the price of the AW3225QF gone up recently? It's £989 on Dell website at the moment and I'm pretty sure it was in the 800's a few weeks ago? May I'm misremembering, but I think it's gone up by over £100

It goes up and down. It has to go up for a while so when it goes down for sales like black Friday they can call it a discount etc etc

I'm definitely err'ing towards a flat panel version though, it's just that they're all mad priced compared to the AW!

Asus PG32UCDM ideally but sod £1349!!!

Just had a peak, that's an insane price and hasn't moved at all since it released. It's also 1199 in the US so the UK/EU cost feels a little out of place.

Agree with you re: flat panel too, I know the curve is minor on the AW panel but I still prefer flat panels where possible.

ASUS tax!

Playing silent hill 2 remake and man the VRR flicker is VERY annoying as essentially the entire game is set in darkness. Now playing with NV app set for the game to use fixed refresh rate and it's a world of difference not having VRR flicker!
