Delivered Hermes?

Can’t say I have ever had a prime item delivered by Hermes. You can’t really complain either if is said delivered on that date at checkout either.

Amazon replaced a GPU I broke, within 12 hours of contacting customer support I had a new one in my hands. And a month to return the old one. I love it, just wish Prime Video was a bit better.

Heh I think the Amazon Logistics driver that tried to deliver here was feeling the weather a bit - was a bit grumpy that no one was in when he tried earlier he did however come by again later.

I ordered sommot at 11pm the other night, it came 9am the next day, i was shocked as normally for me anything after 10pm comes 2 days later

Had a weird one the other day. Ordered express delivery for tomorrow on Saturday (before 1pm) and was expecting my item Sunday.

Went and checked and it had changed to Monday by 1pm and still charged me the express fee!

Should have got the fee refunded - there was a bug in their systems a few months back where on the back end they were seeing people as having disabled weekend day deliveries when they hadn't - you had to manually toggle it on and off and on again to make it work properly otherwise at the end of the order process it would switch to the next week day.

Sometimes its due to the stock fulfilment and the actual item is in a warehouse that they can't deliver to you next day even though to some people they can :s

Well jokes on them as requested full refund as had to run to selco Sunday to get one urgently .

So now it has to be delivered and sent back and processed.

Probably because you added 1 hour on to his day

He was under no obligation to try again (so fair play to him that he did). Not quite sure what happened as it wasn't for me but the second part of the order was later delivered by another driver who was the opposite and very pleasant.

So tried the add-on item trick and it seems to have worked.

If you try and buy an add on item without the 20 pound minimum it says no, so add something over the value go through the checkout and when it asks to confirm remove the expensive item and it will then still go through.

Let's see if it turns up lol

We'd ran out of drinks the other day and couldn't be bothered going out, so prime now and 2 hours later loads of cans and a bottle of gin turned up for free, so actually cheaper than going getting it myself. I really can't fault Amazon Prime.

I used to love prime but it has become quite hit and miss lately, delivery is on time, but for many products now I am seeing estimated delivery dates of 2-3 days for prime items which is not acceptable when I'm paying £40 a year for what is supposed to be next day delivery, also for a lot of cheap items the ones that are prime eligible are a few £ more expensive so they are basically charging you for delivery when you are supposed to be getting that included in the price. Also add on items such a pain the arse, should be included in the prime subscription.

Also another bug on the Amazon website has been annoying me, if your default delivery location is set to an Amazon locker it says "delivery is unavailable for your selected destination in UK mainland" for items that are too big for the locker, it should instead give the delivery info for your home address. This also highlights another issue I've seen lately, lockers which are always full and items which are being described as "too big for the locker", how the **** is a keyboard too big for the locker seriously?

i didn't realise the kind of pressures some of the drivers are under - i ordered something off Wiggle, and when i went to the tracking page it said "currently delivering order 60 - you are 65"! that's a lot of orders in one day!

He probably had more deliveries after yours too, multi drop can be such a nightmare

Unless your a student, you known Amazon Prime is £79 a year right? I think it was £40 ages ago but it's gone up since.
