Not being funny but they were claiming HDMI 2.0 adapters were just around the corner when I had my 295x2

I play on 1080p 46" Sony TV. It has excellent input lag figures.

Last time I checked, even best 4K TVs on the market had atrocious input lag. Even from Sony. So I guess my question is, how do you people play games with 60ms+ input lag?

Do AMD have any advice or hope to offer people that want to use a 4K TV?

Edit: Ah, I missed one of the posts you were replying to. So the adapters are still due in the summer. They've been due for a very long time though, so it's hard to take that as much of a comfort.

Samsung's current UHD TVs (and TVs from 2013 if you choose to buy the external One Connect upgrade) have about 20ms input lag, which is really quite excellent by most standards.

Can you give me a specific model? Input lag was the biggest issue for me when deciding if I wanna switch to 4K.

I have being playing today, but I either have a driver issue or the rig I was using had NVIDIA sabotage going on as the performance was not as per expectation, should have being quicker.

Now got the Fury home with me and shall play with it over weekend comparing to my 290X and 980Ti G1. But from the press pack I have the Fury X is a 980Ti competitor, not a beater and not a loser.

Also NVIDIA are not going to move 980Ti price, simply no way as they know MSRP on Fury X is around £549 inc. VAT, same price as their 980Ti which they will argue has more features and more VRAM.

Also NVIDIA will not move price when AMD has such limited stocks and all resellers are price gouging and sell way over £600 due to such limited stocks.

This sub £500 980Ti is a truly genuine deal, a very silly one at that and yes OcUK does lose nearly £3 a card, this is purely a marketing stunt. Take one of the best 980Ti on the market with best warranty and then move sub £500 and make a load of noise!! Marketing!!!!

I am more than happy with it, even if the fury X is amazing there is no point me even considering it, cant believe AMD have done this again and alienated a lot of us who game on 4K TV's.

Gibbo explained in another thread, it's a loss leading marketing exercise, and a damn good one at that! Costing them around £3 per card, but it must be generating a lot of OCUK hype and web hits.

EDIT, These you linked are 15.15 Asder, I have 15.20 Asder installed so I'm presuming they've also had the ini tweak done, Is that right?

I presumed they hadn't but from seeing this and seeing the ones that I already have are also marked as being from Asder I'm presuming he did the same ini tweak for these,

Ahh 15.15 are 11th june compared to 8th June for 15.20 so I'll try them.

Unless playing an online twitch shooter you just wont notice it.
