The consumers have one very important weak point - they don't know what they want.
I am pretty sure that the only metric they care about is the price and they got screwed exactly in the price, got back only better single performance.
Is it worth it? No, of course not.

I, as hard supporter of AMD, will think twice before spending a single penny for a new Ryzen.

Why, because I am also a consumer and they didn't listen to me.
So now you've elevated to arrogant, entitled and delusional. Please just stop posting, you're an utter embarrassment to yourself and to those of us subjected to your drivel. How you've not gotten permabanned for your incessant trolling I will never know.

This lot is something else.
Claiming that AMD will price higher (or as much as) when the competition doesn't have any stock to consider to validate the price point being asked.
Haa!
:D

Thats Nvidia for you they've already thought that one through and know how it will play out in the marketing. They're bloody geniuses at understanding mindshare I honestly wonder if they employ psychology experts.

? Who has you so upset?
From his highly reactive posts (often exaggeratedly so) , LePhuron is neurotic, that much is clear. Ironically, given he is throwing the term around at other members, that's also generally a manifestafion of some form of 'mental illness' .

Time for ‘leakers’ to fill their pockets with last minute clickbaits like usual from all the fanboys, then AMD to have to pick up the pieces like previous launches.

Went from 6800xt close to 3080 perf to beats 3090 and 6900xt demolishes it in a day yes?

if it is indeed true, sounds nice. If not, well, hf being disappointed. 4 more days and the rumor **** can stop yay.

4K pulling out "I know for a fact AMD don't listen to their customers because I'm a customer and they didn't listen to me". Jebus wept that guy is verging on mentally ill now.

Oh that dude? Have had him on ignore for months, never seen someone flipflop so much before.

I think he is either intentionally trolling, or scarily mental, perhaps both. I just out him on ignore as his constant drivel never made any sense anyway.

Complete ramblings of a madman, that one.

Bit gutted i have woken up to no fresh leaks lol

The leaked benchmarks are odd. https://youtu.be/7USjYnFnwTs?t=318

Take here https://youtu.be/7USjYnFnwTs?t=224 3:44

The average 3080 in timespy extreme gets a score of 8908 (AMD Ryzen 9 3950X). https://www.3dmark.com/search#advanced?test=fs R&cpuId=&gpuId=1338&gpuCount=1&deviceType=ALL&memoryChannels=0&country=&scoreType=overallScore&hofMode=false&showInvalidResults=false&freeParams=&minGpuCoreClock=&maxGpuCoreClock=&minGpuMemClock=&maxGpuMemClock=&minCpuClock=&maxCpuClock=

This review gives 8581 for the 3080 FE and up too 9325 for the better 3080's https://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/gpu_displays/asus_rtx_3080_oc_strix_review/20 AMD Ryzen 9 3950X.

Yet TimeSpy Extreme is given 7978 for the 3080 and the E438 looks better somehow with a score of 8230.

The 3080 has an average score of 11131 in firestrike ultra with an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X. Yet somehow the 3080's gets a score of 10531 vs the E438 with a score of 12871. The 3080 has a highest score of 12403 with the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X and 13401 with the 10900k @ 6,503 MHz (3080 has a clock speed of 2400MHz and a average clock frequency of 2335MHz https://www.3dmark.com/fs/23550711).

https://youtu.be/7USjYnFnwTs?t=307 this is timespy extreme @ 5:07. We see the scores for the ES, 80CU which is not the 6800XT. Here the ES, 80CU can with a 10900k @5GHz only do 8000 in timespy extreme. Average score: 8603 for the 10900k and highest is 10318.

You don't understand how business works, you want year on year growth, steady, you need it to be steady in order to sustain the work force, increase the cash flow, buy more wafers... You know operate. Or they could have released the chip you want at your price and devalue every single other chip in the lineup. Making that chip you want doesn't make business sense.

Are you just deliberately trolling? It's because of AMD we saw above 4 cores, now it's their fault because we don't have 64 cores yet?

Nobody does:p

4K8K is at it again I see :D

Probably worth reminding everyone the conclusion I came to about him a while back:

Listen, and understand. That 4K8K is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are brain dead.

:p

I think I will just do a Zen 3 upgrade this time.. graphics cards seems an unhealthy obsession in 2020

Hahaha you just can't make this stuff up! Well unless your an AIB in China in which case, yes, yes you can lmao.

This launch is like watching the local village drunk staggering and swaying ready to faceplant at any second, falling down, stumbling back up, 3 steps backwards, 2 sideways, 1 forward etc.

Still waiting for AMDs "Hold my beer" moment during their launch though, we all know AMD Never have a perfect launch

PC hardware has been an unhealthy obsessive hobby for many years, the difference being there was generally stock to buy at launch and also importantly there was historically less focus on daily hype and news to exacerbate people's already short supply of patience.

This lack of stock and extreme hype has basically sent levels of ubernerd FOMO OCD into the stratosphere. :D
