I'm sure a lot of people would want to know what the 290 is about before making the plunge for the 290x. Hopefully it's wrong. Gibbo says on the 290x preorder emails in the next 48 hours will have some 290 information on it apparently

I really hope we see some non reference designs sharpish. Gibbo estimated 6 weeks after launch, I hope he was being cautiously pessimistic.

Of course some Etailors have not taken pre-orders, as such there could be some sitting on shelfs at competitors, not something I should say, but we decided to take deposits for ours and have them sold before they arrive.

What we do have plenty of is R290 regular, but this will launch a few days after R290X.

290 launches next week and we've got 1000 in stock, we might be the only UK etailor with those too as I've ordered 10,000, it's an awesome card.
