AMD Radeon R9 290X with Hawaii GPU pictured, has 512-bit 4GB Memory

Club3D Radeon R9 290 pictured

The Radeon R9 290 is based on Hawaii PRO graphics processing unit which packs 2560 Stream Processors, 160 Texturing Units and 64 Rastering Units. In comparison to 290X we have a lower core clock: 947 MHz. The good thing about this card is that you get 4GB GDDR5 memory across 512-bit interface with it

Nvidia already knows price/date/benches/ only we have been left in the dark the buyer I would bet Nvidia has 290x in its lab lol maybe even bf4 one

Interesting vid here, TTL talks about rebranding, how Nvidia introduced a new price tier by marketing the Titan so that the 780 seemed like a bargain @ £550 launch (Although I got mine for £450 (; )

We need more vids and stuff in this thread to kill time until we actually get some R9 290 info :p

No, they don't, it's essentially one e-mail with new prices and CC'd to every store who will have stock on launch day to alter pricing. It's been done before price changes literally the day before both review launch and stock being shipped. So no, Nvidia don't know the pricing because AMD can change it any time.

I think even Gibbo has been caught by hinting at a price that ended up a pretty decent wedge above actual launch pricing because AMD changed the price with maybe a day to go.

The likelyhood is most rumours are of a pretty high price because AMD doesn't want Nvidia to know where it will go. These guys will play petty games. If AMD launched at $5 less than a 780gtx, you can be sure Nvidia would put in a $10 price drop, if Nvidia don't think AMD will change the price they'll wait till after it officially launches to decide how they'll react.

So why is there still no official price and benches and NDA still in effect? Less than 24hrs left.
I remember walking dead survival instinct was like this, that didn't end up well
