AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Owners Thread

I know it's different for everyone, but how much has the OC's added to your temps? My GPU throttles if I don't have the front of my PC off (it's my case, not the card).

Is it normal to be able to hear the water constantly sort of splooshing inside the loop of the AIO ?

*EDIT*

It sounds like an air bubble, Any way to remedy this ?

*2nd EDIT*

Seems to be gone, Very odd

I heard a bit of 'bubbling' when I first switched mine on but it stopped after about 5 mins or so and I've not heard any since, same with my H75 cpu AIO cooler. I'd guess that as you say it's some air in there and now it's got to a high point and it staying still so no more noise. Hopefully it's not stuck anywhere that will cause a problem.

I can't remember exactly and the runs weren't all done under exactly the same conditions etc but when doing a couple of hours looping of Heaven at stock mine settled at about 68 degrees and that went up to about 73 when I put it up to 1100/1650 and I could get it to throttle if I pushed it further.

SInce then however I've been playing Dragon Age Inquisition and that really canes the card at 1440p VSR with everything maxed and causes throttling so for day to day use I've reduced it back to 1025/1550 with a -20mv undervolt. The difference in performance isn't noticable in games, only benches so not worth cooking it just for epeen :)

I can hear bubbling all the time after long period of gaming, hard to say if its the graphics card or the Seidon cpu cooler...should I be concerned ?

also how would I isolate the problem ? I can't just unplug CPU cooler....

Nice Virus, really does seem they binned the nice chips when they were charging £1100+ :)

Even when they were sold for £800, the chips were well binned :D
Mine at least is superb, running at +0mv +50% at 1100/1650 without issue for months, and never gets more than 58C on hours of load.

Why is there not a list like in most other owners threads on the front page listing owners ???

Because when I started the thread, we were few of us. Some has issues and returned them, after that no news from the others.

So no list :/

If anyone has a card and wants his name on, let me know, and I will edit the first post :D

(I do not want to put my name first....).

Finally, my beauty is plugged in and fully fitted with fans

I quite like that fat4l !

How you finding the spectra fans? Have some myself, only the plain black ones :o

Shame they don't push a little more through a rad. Mine are quite thick though.

Edit:

May I ask what quick connects they are?

its QD4 Female Quick Disconnect No-Spill Coupling, Compression for 13mm x 19mm (1/2in x 3/4in) *Black* QD4-FS13X19-BK and QD4 Male Quick Disconnect No-Spill Coupling, Compression for 13mm x 19mm (1/2in x 3/4in) *Black* QD4-MS13X19-BK.

its a shame ocuk dont do them(atleast female one) but u can buy them from one uk/germany retailer.
check http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18643190

the fans are spectre PRO not just spectre and they push a bit more air than spectre and have higher static pressure. fpi of mora3 is not that high and push-pull condiguration helps ;) not sure uf they would be able to push air through Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta rads tho..

Crank that shiznitz up dude, So far on air I've managed 1150/1600 but run 1100/1500 24/7 clocks, I think I got a good one :D
working on it now brother! :)

GPU1 max is 1140 at default load voltage ~1.175v.
Wonder if gpu2 will do 1140 as well as its default load voltage is a bit lower ~1.135v.

Gonna do MEM1 now

;)

Cheers for that.
Mine are the pro's too. Be it the plain black. Could be the thick rads in my case like I thought. I might go push-pull myself :D

I dont have a 295x2, so sorry for party crashing, but I have a question for the 295x2 owner, so where better to ask?

Is a 295x2 capable of driving ANY game (including AAA++++++ games) @ 4k if your willing to settle for say medium settings and 40fps. Or are we not there yet? Lets presume atleast BASIC crossfire support, not games that dont reconise the 2nd GPU at all.
