AMD RDNA3 unveiling event

Its not just about getting threads locked...

He's skirting on the edge of forum rules trying to get people to react to him in a way that will get you banned, he is toxic in this forum.

Just put him on ignore, seriously....

We don't need reviews to know the 7900XTX and likely the 7900XT will blow the 4080 away on raster assuming AMD hasn't flat out lied with performance numbers which is highly unlikely, if anything AMD has a habit recently of undercooking its benchmarks.

I thought I smelled a rat at the obnoxious way he was pulling the victim card and continuing to heavily post incredibly generic or wilfully ignorant posts.

Why would someone flip so hard if they weren't baiting for it.

They should have been out last Thursday.

Really? Anyone else get the sense that the 4080 16GB may now also get "Unlaunched" and Nvidia go back to the ##80 class cards being slightly cut down ##90 class cards with less than half the VRam?

I have already reported all posts as just look at this last page, off topic, baiting, spouting of about fanboys, boasting about ignore (which @Stanners also mentioned before) and literally nothing to do with the discussion at hand.

If the posts don't fit your narrative or/and you can't discuss something like adults then use the ignore

People need to start mass reporting him because he's destroying every AMD thread I went back 15 pages in the 4000 series thread, not one post by him in that, yet clearly an NV fanboi, owens NV, and is totally obsssed with RT - whwre NV lead.

But not interested in talking about RT - unless it's in an AMD thread...

Clear trolling.

If everyone has him on ignore he wont get the reaction he craves, he'll be trolling with himself, the Mods are not going to do anything about it, they can't, not until he actually breaks forum rules and just being like that is not against forum rules.

It pushes the limits of ones tolerance, trust me i know, that's the point of it, but if you can't see it it doesn't bother you.

Good, maybe the mods will realise the common denominator and take action!

Let Stanners do his job....

Back to the topic.

Anyone here remember the HD 7950? It was clocked so low as reference people where getting 40% overclocks out of them, 850Mhz to 1200Mhz.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nvidia drops it down to $900 as they said 80 class would start at 900 and replace the $1200 price point with AD102 4080ti.

dunno man... i would rather bet on the radeon hitting 1200 or a more obnoxious number outside the launch window which would roughly last for 10 secs, thats without taking history lessons
so if someone is able to swipe a FE, i would call it a good buy

The question is how much damage can Nvidia's pride take. I do think with the existance of RDNA 3 at the prices they are at, leaves the 4080 16gb DOA. Nvidia's own markerting material shows it barely beating a 3090ti.

Two options,

Unlaunch it and swallow the public humilation.

Keep the launch have it look like a failing product and introduce the super (or 5000) series in Q1 23. Revised spec and price to properly compete with RDNA 3

AMD on the other hand needs to set the story for the mid range and low end cards, that way they can really twist the knife in Nvidia's gut.

If AMD sets the performance and the price, then Nvidia is the one on the back foot and having to react. Also it would be a great way to **** all over the 3000 series that Nvidia really wants to sell.
