If it's a hardware bug, why can't it be replicated in Windows GCC?
Is software bug that is already been patched on new kernel versions....

If AMD want someone other than some "famous" youtuber/reviewer to test their new processors/mobo' etc, I'd gladly take one off of their hands
Ryzen suffering from segmentation fault bug in linux under heavy loads.
Check here. This affects EPYC as well apparently

They could share the box imho. I will get the cooler and the 1950X and you get mobo, ram and 1920X.
Maybe ask AMD to get it from the PCMag guys, they almost destroyed it and not deserving it. Or is too damaged now, that ain't worthI'm fine with that. Beats my current i3-540 & i7-860 by a tad

Yeah, I think right now they're trying to put the paper weight Threadripper into the mobo right now, to replace the one that they've turned into a paper weight
The system/board only supports dual channel according to Dells product page:The RAM used was single-rank 2666MHz, I assume in quad channel.
32GB Dual Channel DDR4 at 2667MHz; up to 64GB (additional memory sold separately)
Anyone else really anoyeed how people keep refering to benchmarking TR in games? It's not in any way shape or form a "gaming" CPU. It would be like benchmarking a new ship on how well it can fly. Anyone buying TR FOR gaming is mad.
So you are buying a TR CPU MOSTLY for gaming? It's what I'll be buying it for mostly, don't feel mad though. People telling others they are mad for spending their money how they want is really annoying however.

OK, enjoy.Aye with some streaming and a bit of video stuff. 90% gaming though.

You must enjoy seeing most of your CPU sat idle......

Maybe but my own mind and what I want to buy is not sat idle luckily....
I like buying new technology and I like the HEDT platforms. The way AMD have done things with TR has me more excited for a CPU than I have been for years.
It's so funny here. You get a group of people who want to seem to manage what others buy. Same with the Intel stuff. Good luck to anyone who buys a 7820 or 7900 I say and I hope they enjoy them.
I'm not telling you what to buy or what not to buy.
It just seems a waste. Gaming performance it will be the same as a ryzen r7. it will bring no benefit. But hey, your money. Have fun.
You mean like LGA2011 CPUs were the same as LGA1155 CPUs and LGA1366 CPUs were the same as LGA1156 CPUs?Gaming performance it will be the same as a ryzen r7. it will bring no benefit. But hey, your money. Have fun.
