There's only 0.05ns difference in favor of 3200Mhz CL14 so you should see no difference but as Orange Nexus suggests you can do some tests yourself, it would interesting to know either way.

Has anyone ever tried downclocking b-die whilst tightening timings?
I can see that there is CL9 2400MHz DDR3, but not seen anything near for DDR4.
Would be worth a test, surely?

Upgraded from my 3733 when this kit was on 155 quid promo week ago. And I dont think there ia any realistic gain look on my latency. I got 3733cl14 wirh tighter timings yet its on upper 64ns i think that when You are running IMC at its max 1:1 lower timings actually make performance worse. You get more errors ect. I tried my cl14 timings with 1.5 volts on ddr and it actually benchmarks less everywhere i checked on 3800mhz mem setting. Also 1.325 is just a bit above volts where performance starts to die. Thia ia avx2 stable setting when temperature is normal.
Just think abouts volts I got this goig at. Everyone pumping 1.48-1.5 volts in to ram kits more soc more vddg this is my 24/7 100% load atable setting that will run nicehasg when im not gaming or rendering same as my 1700x and my 2700x ware used.

think it's the other way...for the short term. due to the japan-south korea trade tensions at the moment. prices probably going to be static or rise slightly for the next couple months i'm guessing
