AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

Try the SOC at 1.2 if it works just lower until your happy with the result.
I used to use 1.2 SOC on earlier bioses until i realised the first port of call for instability was adjusting the Termination and Cad bus block settings.

No no. My ram isn't unstable. I want to try to raise my FCLK. The only voltage I haven't changed is the SOC at auto 1.1v.

Coming back to my earlier issue of high idle temps, boy does this PC get hot on a hot day. I noticed the CPU was in the 70-80C (usually in 60s for a gaming load) region after a short session on Tomb Raider and the case was noticeably hotter. The AIO liquid was around 15-20C hotter than idle (>50C), I have had similar issues in previous summers and unfortunately the desk already in this bedroom (rented) has a small and slightly restrictive enclosure for the tower. I currently have my Kraken X52 sat on the front intake and 1 x 120mm fan as a back exhaust and 1 x 120mm at the top - also as an exhaust. I assume not enough cool air is getting in and/or not enough warm air is been taken out, so will have a think about how to improve and likely buy a couple more fans.

My PC is in a loft conversion. It gets sweltering up here on a hot day.

It’s probably more down to the graphics card.

Those prices are insane. My X570 Tachi was under £250 from a “competitor” on launch day.

Perhaps they are recouping some B450 4000 series bios writing expenditure.

At that price I'm happy with my X570 Tomahawk - For £40 more it's a X570 chipset with wifi
