AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

Ok but I meant that they are being used and they are very nice and visible. Not like PCs which get nothing - the stupid Google Chrome browser can't compare in displaying YouTube videos with my Panasonic TV which has internal hardware resources to make the viewing experience the best possible.

Personally I like my 23.97FPS unprocessed, and all the junk like BFI is turned off since most internal 'improvements' actually spoil the picture. If you watch football or other fast motion sport you may like it, but it's terrible for TV shows and films.

Unprocessed means all the pixelization will be there to actually ruin the picture. Internal improvements in the Panasonic quad-core processor and its software make these pixelisations invisible and make the picture smoother.
23.97 FPS is a sad joke.

You clearly no absolutely nothing about TV's. Pixelisations, lol. :p

I tell you facts from real life, you speak not serious responses.

This is how a YouTube picture looks like on Windows 10, Google Chrome latest version x64 or Microsoft Edge (doesn't matter), Ryzen 5 2500U with Vega 8:

That's because the bit rate is absurdly low. Quality source material looks much better with no/minimal post-processing.

CES! CES!! CES!!! :D

Yeah Spaceballs is still a classic. The irony being that Star Wars has devolved to a level of just merchandising :D

Subbing to this thread to keep update on AMD Goodness :) - Fingers crossed for a Ryzen 2 build next year for me :)

My guess is April. That's when the previous two releases have happened. 19th to be precise.

It seems too far away, not sure I can wait that long, but it also seems stupid to build an AMD machine right now when zen2 is only a few months away at best :(

That's likely the last date.
But market situation wise AMD can only win by release before that when desktop CPU is ready and there's good stock.
That would limit time frame Intel has for selling their "ninth" generation Skylakes.

No worries because backwards and forwards compatibility is guaranteed. You buy a 2000-series Ryzen with a B450/X470 motherboard, and use the motherboard with 3000-series or 4000-series Ryzen, no problem.

I know but its about what I can afford atm :p I wont be able to get a 2600X/2700X right now and then a few months down the line get a 3600X

Just use the 2700X for 18 months and drop in a 3700X when the price has dropped ;)

I suppose thats an idea, do you think cpu's can be sold after they've been used though? Sure i wont get as much money for it back, but is it actually a thing to sell your old (still powerful) cpu's?

Yes, CPUs can be sold as "second" hand, perhaps one of the safest actions when purchasing/selling anything "second" hand.
