AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

Sounds like I'll need to buy a x570 if I want to just slap the chip in, set PBO etc and get the best results with my 3600mhz C16 ram, still want to see 3800X Vs 3700X and 3900X to see which is the smartest buy for pure gaming.

Looks like my 1700, CH6, Arctic Freezer AIO and 3400mhz C15 ripjaws are going on the MM this weekend lol

If you do have AMD CPUs, any chance you could test them out on CEMU so we can get a decent measure of the IPC increase in single threaded performance?
I already tried a lot of ipc stuff and single thread. Don't have time for more...

I am not building hype at all.... How can you say that... I am just answering compatability stuff in the main...

Hate to jump in here as i am no professional in regards to pc hardware.

Are you allowed to say without giving vital infomation just by saying if it was close to the performance of the 9900k or not, or it was faster or slower whichever really.

No defo can't say that's perf vs competition..

Don’t get it. If you are on a budget then you want to know the best bang for bucks before you splash your cash. I too find the idea of buying on day 1 without having any reviews at hand a silly thing to do.

People already know the answer to this though if they're on a budget, at least for gaming. 3600 clocked with a drop in upgrade to 8 core later down the line. You don't need to wait for any reviews to know that a 12 core cpu with many threads barely being used for gaming isn't going to offer bang for buck.

You have to select the "Free Shipping" option when moving through the cart process, there should be a Free Shipping option at some stage.

I woulda if I coulda. There was no option last time I bought something. Never mind, it’s only a few quid anyway.

I just hope the grunt from a 3900X on my crappy current X470 Aorus Gaming Ultra will get a few more frames out of my 2080Ti @ 4K. Would rather not have to replace it with a X570 or I might as well go all out and get a 3950X instead, and that’s a big difference in price between just swapping out a CPU.
