AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

Link us a game benchmark that proofs that 16gb is not enough.. After windows loads im sitting at 14300 free physical memory. I Think Division 2 barely hits 7000mb@4k from what I'w seen rescently. Monster Hunter World was around 6000mb

According to who? and doing what? Theirs a very informative video on you tube that shows difference between 8gb, 16gb and 32gb in a lot of modern games, from 8gb -16 their was marginal difference and between 16gb to 32 their was zero difference and most games did not come close to using the 16gb
He didn't even mention gaming.

I think 16 is still plenty! its probably still the sweet spot for most people. But I do think within the next couple of years, 32 will become the norm
Yes, 16 GiB is the current sweet spot, just like 6 GiB used to be and then 8 GiB. But we're enthusiasts, aren't we? :D

I know i wont use the extra cores of the 3900x. But Will the extra "game" cache be of benefit is the real question over the 3800x. I dont mind paying the extra £100 for the double cache and extra 4 cores and threads. But if it makes no difference then the 3800x is the one i am going for

Reading all this information about them not having a lot of OC potential, if you have a decent board with a nice VRM I don't think it worth going for X570 unless you actually care for PCIE 4.0.

Does give you some mega breathing room though for when that mythical day the 8-core PS5 and Xbox set a new baseline for PC gaming specs.
