Those are US prices before taxes, which varies depending what state you live on (I lived in Miami, Florida had 7% tax). For UK prices you need to add 20% VAT.

Add 20% VAT mate. Jesus Christ, why do we have to go through this every time someone brings up US prices?

that can date distribution bought it to work out exchange rate - also factors in is the amount bought . something like 2k units over 1k unit order you'll get them for $3-8 cheaper - not much but when your talking hundreds it adds up

Well if you are looking for a nice board at not huge price, ASRock X570 Taichi is $229. That's only $20 more than the X470 launch price, their cheapest board will be around $160, so not a huge amount less than Asus but probably better specced for the cost. :)

Quoting myself from the end of May re: Taichi pricing.

They put up $20 since then, but still a great deal. :)

Taichi is great spec and good price by the look of it. Only thing is that RAM... Looks best suited to 4 DIMMS not 2. Don't know why they did that.

taichi x570 with 12 phases and 3 PCie 4.0 slots and 3x m.2 pcie 4.0 ... $250... more like $350

prices actually listed yet and AMD have lock and key under pricing being listed or pre-orders till the 7th

$229 would make it £190... yeah- aint gonna happen

Phantom Gaming X is their highest end board, Taichi is basically the same board without the extra LAN port and a different colour scheme etc, other than that they are extremely similar.
I personally really like how the Taichi looks, it just seems more sophisticated and better build. It must be because the Gaming X has a lot of white parts.

The Taichi though looks like it has worse VRMs compared to lower end Gigabyte boards. Going by the Buildzoid videos.

That, and the UEFI bios hasn't been very good. Both for ease of use and because it's been fairly buggy.

Saying that, I will be sticking with my X370 Taichi. At least util I have a use for PCIe 4.
