2x16 also worked no issues and 4x8 3600c14.Any 2 x 16gb 3600 kits or staying with 2 x 8?
It was more a question if you were going to have any 2 x 16gb kits for sale similar to the 2x8 3600 cl16 kit, but it doesn't seem like it.2x16 also worked no issues and 4x8 3600c14.
These figures for 1/2XXX look extremely pessimistic, probably bottom line of what they guarantee the worst duds can still do after jayztwocents and linus have dropped them a few times prior to testing.Below is from 2xxx reviewers guide.
PR on dual rank was 2666MHz/2400MHz/1866MHz depending on config, etc.

From ASRock X570 product page I think 3xxx Official speeds will be as below:-
Are you just trolling for clicks ???
x370 taichi will be fine as long as asrock releases the bios update to support ryzen 3000.How much worse is the VRM design on my x370 for overclocking compared to the new boards coming out? When I bought it, it was considered one of the best with a 16 power phase design.
Who are you talking to? Although you could mean every one on this thread

I know they have dropped taichi being flagship but didn't think it would be lower end/entry
it's probably a doubled 6+2 phase VRM. It's going to be more than good enough. How much worse is the VRM design on my x370 for overclocking compared to the new boards coming out? When I bought it, it was considered one of the best with a 16 power phase design.

Which board ?
Should have mentioned the Taichi part aha. Wondering if it would handle the 16 core in a few years.
Probably get the 6 or 8 core for now.

I'm in the same boat chap. Currently got a X370 Taichi because I didn't want to keep having to buy a new motherboard every few years when I upgraded the CPU.
It was the whole reason why I bought what I thought was a decent motherboard in the first instance, followed by the promise by AMD of support until at least 2020. I hate spending money unnecessarily, especially when I don't have loads to play around with!
