You need to have a read through some FAQs with all your questions Dutch Guy :p
Yeah I know :( but I don't have that much time to spend at the computer as I work during the day so I'd rather play the game in the vening rather than looking at FAQ's :o

I work full time and play this game fine, usually ~2 hours in the evening.

I wanted to start the main quest but keep getting dragged into other quests and after 23 hours of gameplay still have to deliver the amulet :o

Are there only disadvantages to being a vampire?

I ask this as I was offered by someone to be voluntary bitten in the neck to become a vampire

Theres some disadvantages the main one being if u go out in sunlight u will just burst into flames.... what u dont wanna do is become a vamp, not only that but u cant travel during day time only after 8pm when its dark.

Theres some simple work arounds like chapel but most likely too late u have but 3 days to decide if u wanna cure it, u can of course bite and drink other peoples blood that will reduce your vampness and u can be more normal....

or read here, its an FAQ/walkthru/cheats site though!

Im just waiting 2 weeks still.....Does the game say completed or something?

I know, a few days ago I was really into it until I noticed it was 3 in the morning and I had to get up at 8 :o

Main reason why I can't stop is that I always find a lot of new quests to do, I'm doing one quest and I need to go to a city, when I arrive I get dragged into another quest and while doing that I find a lead that updates a totally different quest :p

yeah thats what got me sorta.... and even speaking hello to some town folk and all of a sudden u got a Another quest to do....

At 1st I was like sod this thats why I sorta went off and just did the main quest but im not sure what else happens afterwards...proberly have to do all the trillion mini quest

Don't know why people don't like being a vampire. I've been one for 150 days straight, and find it no problem (currently lvl 20 too). If you need to go out in daylight, break into someone's house and feed off them as they'll be sleeping. You're then free to wonder as you please, until you rest. The stats boosts and extra spells are handy, but then I am an evil asassin (twice as much infamy as fame). :p

Ahh think I see what happens now after the main quest is over... as in nothing u just gotta do the trillain mini quest!

And I so hate it when people from cities chase u down and force a quest from you !

I was looking forward to some kind of awesome reward from the Main Quest. All I got was some fancy looking armour which isn't all that great :(

Where's a decent place to sell items?

I have a shedload of items worth 3000-4000 each but can only find a 1200 gold max buyer.

Cheers.

1200 is the maximum you can sell things for until you can get a high enough mercantile skill to invest in a store, but even then you can't sell for a particularly high price - I think it's an extra 500.

It's not that big a deal, as once you get to a high-enough level, money's not really an issue. But if you want to improve the returns of your investment in trawling a few dungeons for loot earlier on, then try out the Improved Barter Gold mod which increases the money available based on your mercantile skill. Makes having that skill actually be of some use once you're in possession of expensive goods.

Cheers.

I'm actually on level 35 and have 170,000 gold anyway but just wondered if there was a place to sell over 1200.

I have tried to up my Mercantile skill but it just takes to long.

I'll check out the mod.

Tis exactly what I thought once u done the main quest...its all the little quest u can do, im gonna assume those little quest go on for few years?

Im gonna wear that armour regardless cos it looks nice:)

And now I understand why people use these mods the games main quest is completed so why not play it the way u wanna.....

Is anyone else putting off finishing the main quest of the game until theyve done loads of the mini quests? I know that if I finish the main story il get bored of the game like i did with Fable..

Yeah, at 50 hours and haven't done any of the mq yet and can't see me starting it any time soon, far too much other stuff to do.

It maybe a good idea tbh cos once u get half way thru the main quest they rush u so your sorta forced to complete the quest....

But tbh if one completes the main quest the towns arent going anyware and all the trillion mini quest wont either...

You can't get to oblivion though.

And although they make it seem like you're being rushed, you can just leave it alone for a year ingame and it doesn't make any odds.
