Is anyone else putting off finishing the main quest of the game until theyve done loads of the mini quests? I know that if I finish the main story il get bored of the game like i did with Fable..

Yeah, lvl 22 and still haven't been to Kvatch yet.

I started the main quest, delivered Martin then went off and did so many of the side quests (all of the dark brother hood and Arena, to name a few) I've forgotten what I'm supposed to do for the main quest. :o

You can't get to oblivion though.

And although they make it seem like you're being rushed, you can just leave it alone for a year ingame and it doesn't make any odds.

Yeah I had a gut feeling even though jeffrey telling me to get going right away.... I knew if I came back in a years time woulda been ok.

Tbh either way its a massive game with 1000+ hours of gameplay, you do get certain perks after u have completed the main quest though like the awesome armour and fame/Guards look the other way since your the Champion/Hero etc etc

You play as you want....

There a couple of mods that at a oblivon gate that doesn't disable when the main quest finishs, the one i am using is gives me a huge castle that the blades guard for me :)

Completed nearly all the guild quest as well as the all but a few of the other quests. 130 hrs gaming and i am only level 13, but I am a strong as i've nearly maxed out all of my minor skills.

Got one house left to buy, doing a few shrine quests at the moment.

Also got a mod that adds a secret storage area to everyhouse, it basicly a huge room with platforms to put items and manniquins on, started collecting stuff, it sort of looks like the scene from the first batman film, with bruces armoury.

Awesome game got loads of mods installed, in a way the fact that I can tweak this game to be the game I want it to be makes this the ultimate game :)

Yeah the mods are awesome, ie the portable bedroll... sleep anyware and like the hold more items in your inventory....

much better then making several trips back and forth.

Doesnt that mean you wont get to max out all your attributes? as you wont be able to get the +5 bonuses everytime you level up?

You can always go to prison and serve your sentance to lose a few attributes if you want to max out your character... I think when you get to a certain level you end up pretty uber anyhow

yeah, my character is what you might call "pretty uber" - 100 in all the attributes except luck, all skills at least Expert. I just think that maxing out the attributes early is better than maxing out the skills. As you'll have more health, majicka, fatigue and the majicka will regen quicker.

Everyone plays the game their own way, but I think if I maxed out my skills while still low level, I'd get bored, I like to fight against the higher level Daedra and things like that. If you did the main quest and nothing else at the start, you could probably do the whole thing only fighting Scamps!

Man know I understand why people were complaining like 10 pages back its tedious finding 10 ninroots only to go back and he ask for 20 more !

And then when u go back to give him the 20 ninroots he ask for another 30 lol

I find loads of them roots you find them in areas where water meets land I there's some in people homes in the game where they can be stolen too. I had 29 on my last character.

Yeah there not hard to find I just traveled along the sea/rivers and snapped them up, but seriously if that guy in the cellar ask for another 40 ill kill him.

looks like you'll be killing him then :)

My flatmate's Nirnroot Found stat is at 114. He thinks they grow back some places after a few months or something but I've seen no evidence of this. I think he's probably just done an excessive ammount of exploring.

You'll be glad though, that he doesn't ask for more than 40.

hmm, tempting ;)

Nimroot does not regenerate, unlike all other plants.

The CS says that there are 272 in the game.

Bet the guy had a thrilling time hiding all those nimroots behind the rocks I really must thank the guy for doing that.

Guess what happens when you go back with 30? :p

I've found 93 in total, but there are still a few tributaries and most of Lake Rumare that I haven't traced round yet.

Thats crazy what happens anyhow after u given the guy 100s of ninroots ?

Seriously thats insane I might just look into a spawn ninroot command..... I mean thats just tedious and boring !
