An Elder Scrolls: Oblivion thead

Hi guys, I keep getting this problem when playing oblivion, when I say go inside a building them come back outside - the framerate is far slower asif theres a frame limiter on, anyone else get this? to fix this I have to goto the menu then load the game again.

I get a jerk now and then, but i just stand still and let my computer catch up.

Everythings maxed like so thats the price i must pay, but it rarely bothers me and the more i play, the less it happens.

My computer naffed up so i had to do a complete reinstall meaning i lost my oblivions save (lvl 32 60hrs of gameplay) so i decided to create a new character and throw all the stuff i didnt use into my major things, but know ive realised that its going to take me ages to lvl up and means i cant get the good armour and weapons

Mage Problems

Hi There!

I am trying to get as high as possible in the Mages Guild and I have managed to get as far as Warlock. I can't seem to get Traven to give me another task though he keeps saying he needs more time. I have tried giving him more time by completing some fighters guild tasks, searching for nimroots etc but he still insists he needs more time, is there some trigger that I am missing???

I have reached level 18, and would appreciate any help...

Possibly wait a bit longer, around a week. Like you, I got side tracked with the fighters guild quests, but ended up completing them before I returned to Traven.

Have completed the Mages guild recently as well, just the Arena to go now.

So I don't have to do anything in particular, I'll just wait him out. (Thanks for the help, I can stop worrying now)

I have been playing for around 55 hours now and so far haven't even started on the main quest yet. Currently trying to figure out how to write my own spells as I can enchant my own weapons & armor.

Difficult to say, I have certainly slept through two nights and as I spend the rest of my time running from place to place I must have eaten up another day or two travelling.

How many levels are there past Warlock?

Anyone tried the chuck patch for the new Cat drivers (6.5)

I have dl it but what does it actually do, does it replace the current 6.5 or does it actually patch the drivers?

Have installed the chuck patch and i dont think its working in game eg when i have aa on ingame and use chameleon i dont see anything when i look at my self, no blurring at all (just with hdr yes) but ive doen what it suggested ie enable aa in the ccc menu and hdr in the game but it still shows the blurring when i have chameloen on is there any other way to see if AA is actually on in the game?

I just gave up after the main quest joined the guilds and excelled nicely but things got all too boring/

And then Hitman came out.....

Come to think about it I reckon they shoulda made the main quest longer/more fun cos all I recall is running half nekkid with Dark Sith Lords chasing me in all those gates..... they might as well had a light saber come to think about it !

If you've actually managed to do pretty much everything, then I recommend going outside in the sunshine for a bit .

I often need to stand outside as I spend to long in the game.
