One quest you have to wait at least three game days - have you been waiting that long?

Sorted, I can't have waiting long enough. :)

I have just been in the battle of Kvatch and found it really tough I ended up hiding behind rocks and letting the computer character who can't be killed do the majority of the fighting, as I am a level 20 should it be that tough? :(

Are there any more powerful soul gems than greater and grand?

Doing that at lvls 11-25 is about the toughest it gets - my first character (custom archer) hasn't even done it yet, failed abismally when I tried at lvl15. My newest character (custom battlemage) did it at lvl 2 and it was a breeze. Both are mid 20's levels now.

Don't think so - Azura's Star is a reusable Grand. But then again nothing is bigger than 'Grand'. Some opponents, such as Dremora are actually classified as NPC. All NPC give the "You need a bigger Soul Gem" type message if you try and Soul Trap them. A Black Soul Gem allows you to capture NPC, but I've only ever found two of those and am too nice to make my own :)

Azura's Star is a god send. :D

Should be ok, as long as the CPU is 'clocked :)
I have a similar rig with a slightly faster CPU and half the RAM, and it works fine on medium-high graphics (does get a bit chuggy at times).

When you enchant weapons or armour, can you only have one skill enchantment per item? I know weapons can take more of the none skill related items, but is that it?

Been playing for a couple of days and really need to get some money, only have about 600 gold. Any ideas on getting some decent cash? I've done a few quests but only got small rewards like 100 gold. Also, where/how can I get some armour or magical weapons which would suit a mage?

Just keep wondering around the country side looting caves and killing bandits. Sell the loot off at shops, and you'll make a reasonable amount of money doing so. The higher your level, the easier it is to get money, generally speaking (better loot etc.).

As for mage kit, try the Mages Guild :)

Hi All,

I've been playing for a while and am finding my feet at last (new to the RGP). Got a question that I cannot find an answer for.

In my attributes I have the usual list, OK, one is green as I am wearing a majical item to enhance that attribute, OK. Two are red as in lower than they should be but I cannot figure out why - I am not wearing anything to affect them as I have stripped off and still have the negative influence. How can I get rid of it?

When that happens, I'll initially go to an alter and get cleansed. If they are still red, I've noticed that I'll have levelled beyond the primary attribute currently.

So, say you've got 48 in blade, and only 45 in Strength, then as Strength is the governing (primary) attribute associated with blade there is a deficit of 3 and hence becomes red.
When you level up next, and put 3 or more in strength, the deficit has gone and is restored to normal colours until the same scenerio happens again (although you could level up the other 2 associated attributes and raise strength, sorting it out)

Sometimes when fighting a ghost/wrath etc. you get a message saying "XXXX is being drained" I guess that is when you lose some stat.

Didn't know praying at an alter can restore this :)

Activating the main alter in a church can restore any attribute damaged or reduced by any spell or disease. Not come up against the "governing attribute" issue, so I'm not sure about that one.
