I really don't know the answer to that unfortunately. It certainly is possible that they have taken extra precautions since their blunder yesterday. Regardless, they are handing out refunds no problem. :)
 
Ok folks, maybe a post from everyone who gets an email saying it's been posted is a bit much :p

Mind you, if I pre ordered it I'd prob be doing the same :D
 
Ive been waiting for this for so long, been awaiting the news for soo long, about 2 months which is a LONNGG time for me to be waiting for a game.

Oooooo I can not wait!!
 
I originally pre-ordered it November last year but then changed my order from the Jersey people to gameplay recently.

I've been following news and developments for a very long time though :)
 
Picked up my copy in town today. Have 2 essays in for tomorrow though so won't be able to play it until then. You have no idea how tempted I am to install it and leave my work till later!
 
Right I'll try and make this a little more helpful :)
I'm doing all these shots at 1280x1024
The first set were all at maxsettings HDR no AA

Here are the INGAME vid settings

The first below is again at max. The second is just with all the sliders left but still large textures. The third is with everything ingame and main game options set off or low.

High
Sliders left
All off

I lost my position slightly for the last one but moved forward a bit to show the rock which pops into view.
The main menu vid options include 'draw distant trees' or houses, hdr, vsync etc.

No very little performance difference between the first two shots, if you look it sort of shrinks the trees :)
Those changes may make more of a difference for lower spec cards than mine, which must be working hard at doing this @1280x1024.
I'm going to try a different res or two and see what the fps is like then.

Oh yeah I thought that the thunderstorms in morrowind were good but in this OMG OMG :D

Ran it from HDD but you could burn it and I should later to be safe although I've got a copy on a second drive just in case ATM

Doesn't look anywhere as nice as screenies such as:

Those actual screenies posted of it on high leave me very underwhelmed...

Does it come cracked then? Am thinking of downloading it if you can have just on the computer considering it will be faster to load.

Cracked is probably the wrong word (since it implies something illegal) but if you mean it doesn't need a disc you are correct.

from what ive seen it lives up to all the realistic screenies that were flying about. The early promo ones might have been a little optimistic/touched up but this game really does look the danglies! besides for the last few days its the gameplay everyones been questioning. Now it turns out thats alright the graphics are gonna come back under scrutiny? pfft, just buy it!
