It was announced a fair while back, I think it was at least a couple of months ago we were told horse armour would be a paid-for add in.

), but out of curiosity, what level where you guys when you entered the first oblivion gate at Kvash? I'm in there at level one, and it's not too bad after the first few mobs (with a bit of regen between each one) but does it get a lot harder?Wow, these make a massive difference! No more soupey rubbish distant textures for no drop in performance!PeterNem said:It does seem to look a little worse in your screenshot than it should, maybe that's partly down to JPEG compression?
Either way, someone on the offical forums has released a higher quality texture to replace the standard one which seems to have minimal performance impact.

Be sure to also get the mod by shaja (also linked in the first post of that thread).

The main quest doesn't interest me that much to tell the truth - I'm just loving doing my own thing. Having decided to do that and to also embrace the level scaling, I can honestly say this is the most enjoyable RPG I've played....and I've been playing them since Avalon on the Spectrum 20 years ago
I heard/read that the others also level up with you so really it doesn't matter much at what level you are, there is only a slight advantage to levelling up in this game, in that sense it is different than say Final Fantasy where the monsters have a fixed strength no matter what you level is.Simaster14 said:I'm in there at level one, and it's not too bad after the first few mobs (with a bit of regen between each one) but does it get a lot harder?
Me too, I have just started but as soon as I see a structure or Inn I enter to see what there is to do, I just wish I had a a lot more lockpicks thoughCurio said:The main quest doesn't interest me that much to tell the truth - I'm just loving doing my own thing.
