Are these new DSR rules set out by OcUK a company policy or law? Because often companies implement policy's that don't strictly conform to law, which they entitled to do but should state that it doesn't effect your consumer rights.

And to hair-split, although you can open the goods and inspect them - which includes firing up a graphics card to make sure it's OK - if the retailer finds "no fault" after a return you can only claim back the cost of the goods minus the original postage.
