Apex Legends BR

Why is this game going mental on temps on my 7950x3d only game to push the temps this high not even a demanding game lol. Ive seen on youtube people with a 7950x3d does the same even worse with a 13900k. Do like Apex but not willing to fry the CPU to play it

Ive just put higher settings on and its all the same to be honest. I've uninstalled it from steam going to try it on the ea app see if they is any difference (doubt it). I have watched a few more youtube videos and most cpu temps are through the roof so its not just me thats having high temps on this game. Was a bit of a shock though seeing apex push my cpu temp that high never seen it that high before.

Strange. Like I said, it's been a while since I've played so can't really comment. I'll try it over this week and see how it goes.
I know between steam and battle net MW2, people are seeing differences on how well the game runs.

Its no different on either launchers. I think what it is if you do FPS_max and set to the current cap which is 300 with my build I can hit 300 and it literally stays there thats when the temps rise if you set the fps to cap your monitor hz 180 its fine cpu runs normal 60-65 . must be a bug or something within the game. Must not like players running the max capped fps or something haha

It just happens on Apex no other game. read my comment above about the fps cap has more to do with that i think. Many others looking on youtube also have the same temp. I will just keep the fps match to the monitor cap it at that then its all back to normal.

I can run games like WZ2 at 250-330 . csgo at 600-700 . bf2042 300 plus . battlebit 400-500 . halo infinite 300 and all those run cpu at 60-65 temp.

It is a complex game in that the whole map is drawn and computed for every round. Every shot, movement, explosion and event is completed across all players, across the whole map. If you landed at Caustic in KC and someone is respawning over at the crashed ship and you happen to be looking in that direction, you’ll see the drop shop. Perhaps this is why CPU’s are running hot?

No idea tbh every video I see people running at the cap rate 300 there temps are sky high.. I've capped it to the monitor refresh rate (180) and it's fine 60-65 like every other game that's uncapped. I think apex it's a bug tbh got to be can't see my system struggle to run that at 300 uncapped no other game does.

I think it's a bug if your turned everything down in gfx settings and it's still doing that. Something isn't rendered or handled correctly. High temp is normal but it's not that high.

Yeah me too ive had alook on youtube etc and like i say those that cap at 300 or unlimited get sky high cpu temps.....


Enjoying playing atm though still getting used to K&M. One thing that really annoys me is the randoms are the worst on pc terrible
