Arctic Freezer II - product alert

My kit has just arrived....

it will be a while until I get the chance to fit this. But at least it is there for when I do :)
 
mmmm, wonder if that changed - the process of ordering.? When I ordered mine no such detail was asked for. Probably to limit the orders to those who are directly affected, hence the extra details required.

Seems the same tho to me.

I have changed my gasket and plate over this morning, quite uneventful, which is good.
There seemed to be just enough liquid in the small bottle that is included with the kit, to then refill it after putting the new gasket in place.......

I noticed no gasket deterioration nor anything that had built up in the narrow fins on the block. Using a thin piece of white paper I ran it through a few fins and zero debris was removed.
The replacement gasket felt very different to the rubberised one it replaced.
My AIO had been installed and running daily for around 15 months.
At least it is done now.
Oh, and I did remove the rad from the PC and did the whole thing on a table, quite organised for me.
