Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Holds a very steady 60fps for me. Capping at 60 helped smooth things along with adaptive AA set to 60 also. Everything else maxed. CPU working hard, but not maxing out so far.

Getting properly sucked in, as was the case with Origins. I'm only in Megaris and already 10h in.

Ridiculous amount of detail, locations are seriously beautiful. All those detailed cities, lush forests, rolling hills incredibly pretty water etc. I don't get how they pull off stuff like in Origins and this on such a scale not only without PCs melting but playable on a 1070 at 1440p with only a couple of settings turned down a notch.

Heres my current attire :)

Wouldn't surprise me, they need somewhere really different to the current settings. I seriously enjoyed what I played last night. Just need more time to play!!!

Same, my levels is easily keeping up, even without doing all the quests in an area. I'm sure speed boosts are great if you're a journalist and need to blast through a game as fast as possible, but I want to enjoy it.

Can't say it's much of an issue based on the 6 hours I've played so far.

Really dont see the issue at all, I'm on 26 hours played now, I havent struggled for XP, I havent found it to be a grind, I've actually missed a lot of side quests along the way (which I will go back to when I 100%) and still not struggled for levels. Not even sure what the gist of the article is...that he doesnt have enough time to spend on the game? Well, tough **** , thats life. That he finds it a grind? Well maybe its not his sort of game then, not everything on the market is hand it on a plate instant gratification. That there is an xp boost that can be bought? Who cares, its an offline game, no multiplayer, no one to compete against..I dont see the point or need for the xp boost but it doesnt affect my gaming if someone decides they cant bear the game without buying the xp boost.

It all just smacks of clickbait and someone trying to be negative purely for the sake of being negative.

Even offering such stuff is low but I can't say I feel it's needed so far. As above, I'm easily keeping up and finished Megaris now at level 11. I'm doing everything I can since it's rather fun but I'm sure you don't really have to grind all that much to met level requirements. I could've skipped some stuff and I'd be all right still.

Still early on in the game for Me (2hr and 20 min play time according to Uplay). I am currently Level 3 :D So far so good though and I am enjoying it. I will sink a good few hours into it later on and over the weekend.
