ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition: The Ultimate LGA2011 Motherboard

I will ask ASUS myself tomorrow.

I can tell you guys I do have a retail board shipped from the UK not Taiwan to upgrade the Supernova 8Pack PC. So they must be very close to if not already entering the channel.

That would be much appreciated by many in this thread including myself;)
Please dont forget.

This would be greatly appreciated its the not knowing that's annoying if they said hey sorry it will be here next week atleast wed know :)

i'm sick of this endless waiting. I'll go for x79 dark

Still not as nice as the black though. Id wait just few more days maybe till 7th december?
The X79 dark is out of stock anyhow.
Its also not the best x79 board, quite a few compliants.

Still no fixed date and if the QTY the guys at Asus are looking to allocate ie "share" this could be a right let down.

A company that has pushed this product for weeks and weeks beyond anyone else and we have to "share" fairly?

If that means the 50 or so we have sold dont get allocation and those who have sold 5 and get more than this then have "spare" then Ill not be happy.

Im going to apologise now just in case Asus do let everyone down as it seems to be the way it is potentially going.

If they dont support the customers that have waited and supported them then i suggest you opt for the EVGA Dark and post many images in this thread about it. Id also air your disappointment in Asus for this where ever you can as bad publicity for a brand although disheartening may be required here :(

I assume you guys are aware that r4e has plenty of bugs since the day it's born. Although these bugs are minor and wouldn't cause serious problems, I have to admit these minor bugs are quite annoying.
As I said earlier, at least with evga, you can feedback your problem to a dedicated after-sale/tech team, and hopefully problem get solved in next bios release. And I know evga refresh their mobo bios on a weekly basis.
I have to say I pretty like this kind of interaction between manufacturer and end user.

Yes you do have a strong point as EVGA's support is probably the best out of all of them.
