ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition: The Ultimate LGA2011 Motherboard

I see AM already posted what was discussed today. Europe have a low allocation and though we are getting more than the rest of the UK e-tailors we still have to share numbers. This initial allocation will be here in around 10 days.

Case King is the same I checked with them.

Thanks for that. :)

I've sat since the beginning of September waiting (sometimes impatiently) and an extra couple of weeks is still going to be worth the wait.

So looks like it will be mighty close for shipping before the Xmas holidays
Hoping it will after waiting for 3+ months now

Still no fixed date and if the QTY the guys at Asus are looking to allocate ie "share" this could be a right let down.

A company that has pushed this product for weeks and weeks beyond anyone else and we have to "share" fairly?

If that means the 50 or so we have sold dont get allocation and those who have sold 5 and get more than this then have "spare" then Ill not be happy.

Im going to apologise now just in case Asus do let everyone down as it seems to be the way it is potentially going.

I presume that you will be allocating stock on order placed date and not randomly when stock arrives?

The dark was a great board with 3930K for sure. Not sure how they do with Ivy E. I have not tested at all.

Kingpins records are through amazing GPU frequency more than CPU clocks or memory efficiency. Vince is a great GPU clocker for sure.

Right well I can't wait another 10 days for a 'maybe' - this puts me the wrong side of a window for having the opportunity to upgrade before Christmas.

Having given it lots of thought this morning, I'm going to cancel my full upgrade plan, stick with the little Sandybridge 2600K+ CPU, upgrade its GPU to a 780ti, increase the number of rads and attempt to extract a bit more performance through overclocking.

On the plus side this is going to save me the best part of £2.5k with the parts I had planned, so I guess I should be thanking ASUS. I just hope we don't go through this fiasco again when the Haswell-E makes an appearance next year.

You'll need a crystal ball to find out. If you really want one then put in an order. You can always cancel if the ASUS don't provide enough for all orders to be met.

The problem with that is, if you do put in an order and then ocuk say "We cant send you your order because too many have pre-ordered before you and all stock is now sold out" then you have 2 options.

1. Wait for new stock which will probably be after xmas and new year, were is the fun in that!

2.Cancel your order, but this will take around 5 days to hit your bank balance so unless you have extra money in your bank you will not be able to buy anything else so close to xmas because by the time you get your money back from ocuk it will be almost xmas day.

Im just gonna wait and see until the day they actually come instock, once there in stock ill just call ocuk on the phone and ask "if i order one now will i get one sent out to me or will i have to wait for new stock?"

The answer that i get will depend on my decision to purchase or not.

Good morning.

I ordered the Mainboard more than 2 weeks ago and canceled my order after 10 days because the delievery Dates were changed like hell to the mid of nowhere.

I have contacted via eMail Asus sales contact in Germany and got a message back this morning (after 1 day)

The Mainboards are currently on delivery to the Distributors and will be available end of next week!
This means, HOPEFULLY, that shipments to end-customers will/could be happen on 6.12.2013.

I preorderd now again for 386€ (and saw that today Prices moved up to 400€) and wait now for the happy day!

Cheers,
Hawk (from Germany)

Which e-tailor are you buying from? why you don;t buy from uk local dealers?

We have ordered 100 Units and that is where the sales guy would see the info.

ASUS have not given us close to that many. They as I said earlier have chosen to share allocation around the e-tailors. Although in this they have given us the most units, it is not enough to fulfil the amount we have sold.

Guys really you don't need a response from ASUS as this is in fact the truth.

Case King in Germany is also in a similar situation as the allocation to Europe as a whole is low.

Bah this waiting is killing me. I have RIVE and RIVF already though but I have R3B and I want R4B too. I'm in Finland so I might not get a board at all :P. I have connections to the store though which is the biggest IT reseller in Scandinavia and a friend who works there told me they also ordered my board directly from Asus. Some hope still left I hope.
