ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition: The Ultimate LGA2011 Motherboard

Those that do have this board check your socket pin layout there seems to be 2 different types just seen it on another forum .

Have they got pictures of the difference?

Too late for me to look but I don't remember noticing any difference from the REIV.

Thanks for the reply 8Pack :) I normally go for affordable midrange performance RAM with some room to push for benchmarks, the TeamGroup Xtreem LV "Frost Edition" 2666MHz C11 seems to fit that niche well.

Timings of 11-13-13 with Hynix IC settings should be fine for gaming and rendering at that speed, maybe step back to 2600MHz 10-12-12 Samsung IC settings for gaming at 1T. The tall heatsink is no problem because I'm going for a custom loop and should take of excess heat at that speed and remain stable at 1.65v. Taking your advise about SuperFlower 1200W capabilities and waiting til stock arrives next week, really should have been named SuperPower :D

First time with LGA2011 (once I received mine) and the huge amount of tweaking possibilities is great if a little overwhelming as even Tom Logan himself admits freely and excels being pushed hard, 4930K better be up to the challenge too.

Please dont mention Tom Logan man!!!

So my friend who had an order at another online retailer who was expecting a delivery this week has just been called and told that the delivery won't be this week, and they have no date as to when the board will arrive.

This is looking grim...

Two were stuck in the warehouse one that has now been dispatched to mint but not sure if the other one was meant for me as Andrew mentioned an order from the 2nd in his original statement and my order was from the 2nd but unlike mint I have had nothing back on the matter yet so don't know at this point if the last one has been shipped out or not.

Yep nothing has changed they are still waiting on more stock

Just got a response back in the order queries thread looks like I'm second in the queue and Andrew was mistaken and stock didn't get allocated to an order on the 2nd Oct (unless someone ordered 10 mins before mine) so looks like unless mr orange comes back with some good news (not likely tbh) i think that's it before Christmas now.

Thing is uk get shafted every time like we don't matter with new tech then because there is a shortage the shops take advantage of it after all if it wasn't for us there would be no market for this, not blaming ocuk ive shopped with them for years and they will always be my number 1 as there customer support is second to none out there I blame asus plain and simple.

Is there an easy we can tell which make of ICs are in our RAM modules?

Have you done any overclocking yet? I use my ivb-e cpu with r4e since its lauch. Extremely stable. 1.24V 4.5G. Now testing with r4be, my computer shut down instantly during p95 test, increasing vcore to even 1.3v, still shut down instantly. Besides, I notice the voltage reading of vcore is incorrect from adia64, HWiNFO64, even asus probe. do you have such problem?
