Valve did say a few months ago not to expect an v2 anytime soon.

To me it looks like Currys don't have stock, and don't know how much stock to order, so they put up a 'register your interest form' because they're unsure, and pulled down any other page unless you're outside of England, where it simply says 'out of stock'.

That register your interest page has been up for at least 2 weeks…

Hopefully the page goes live again soon after they jumped the gun!

I haven't seen factual proof anywhere, but backing up your statement, this was mentioned on Discord - "according to review documents it got gyro also in system devices its got an boschg accelerometer"

Yes, money already gone from my bank. There are no buttons to cancel the order, just gives a phone number and e-mail.
