BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

Well, I haven't read this thread for a whilw so I hadn't seen the problems with replacements. Now I am worried. My TN screen was collected by City Link yeasterday and arrived at lunchtime today with OCUK. I do hope they manage to send the right sort.

However, the TN panels are now being sold in the 'Sale' section of the OCUK site at a lower price. I wonder how many takers.

I was going to get a second one - one for my wife and one for me but the way things are looking that might not be a possibility. It looks as though the 2408 Dell is the best choice for a PVA panel. I'd like to hear if anyone has found anthing better than the Dell. (better as in cheaper that is) as I can see anything to touch it if the OCUK monitors are now disappearing.

Mine was picked up yday, and should have been delivered to OcUK today. But the RMA is still showing as "not yet received". Should I be worried ?
 
Those that have had TN panels.. would you say that they're worth £187?

i do think it's worth the 190pounds
i loved mine, the only problem was that i paid for a VA panel, and i watch movies from the bed which is a little lower then my PC, the picture is really dark while watching from the bed.

i would buy it if it would be for normal use, as the pictue quality is really really good.
goig from a cheap 19inch monior, i would say definatly worth the money.

I agree, my 1st TN panel was a very good monitor. I would have kept it if they refunded me the difference, but they couldn't so sent it back to get the VA panel i paid for... well so I thought. I am waiting until next week to send this 2nd TN monitor back and hopefully I will get a VA panel, im sure it will be worth the wait.

There's a bit of confusion around here about the better panel on the OcUK. OcUK juts list it as *VA which is rather ambiguous, and I think everyone (including me in that picture I posted a few pages back) has assumed it's a PVA when most if not all of them are MVA. I think Bonjour just means is the OcUK with the non-TN panel worth the extra £50 over the TN panel returns which are being sold off cheaper.

I think it is, given the price of all the other MVA/PVA 24" screens.
 
My monitor was collected Monday, and my RMA has *still* not been updated. Still says "not received". Phoned up this morning and was told it had been received yesterday and that they'd update my RMA immediately. And then phoned up at 12pm and was told they have a load of monitors that they're working through, and that I'd definitely receive the replacement tomorrw. I had already booked time off for today (Wed) as they originally said that's when Id receive the replacement. Now Ive booked time off tomorrow. I'm trying not to be unreasonable here, but I'd like some assurance that I'm not going to be sitting around for a day for an item which may or may not arrive...

Fatzer, I RMAed my screen which was collected by City Link on Monday. I got an email tonight to say they were sending a replacement when available under a new order number. I'm happy with that. Mind when is another question so I shall just keep checking my account. I suspect an email will come out when the thing is dispatched so watch out for that.

My RMA screen still shows not received but I don't think we need worry on those grounds. I got the job number when the monitor was collected and tracked to OCUK on Tuesday lunchtime.

I RMA'd my TN panel on monday and they said that they would replace it with the VA one.
I then received an e-mail today saying that they would be giving me a refund.

I don't want a refund and the price has gone up since i orderd it.

Should they send me the VA 'matt' type one that i orderd? It does'nt seem fair that i should pay more for it now when it wasn't my fault.
