BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

You need to get some glasses - lol :p

Ive never had problems viewing text or data on any screen at Uni/work/friend's PC etc. Its just that my preference is to have large txt to make reading very easy. Its a preference, not a case of being unable to physically resolve the small text.

The change of DPI has sorted out the problem anyway. I have it set to 126% larger than normal.

only thing i have a prob with is on box mod number is L-2442w and on back monitor it sez L-24442w and on dgm site i cant register warranty as my monitor is not listed ? :)

Yup a simple USB TV card is all you need, If you have Vista or MCE XP then it's pee easy, a simple driver install later and MCE will sing and dance all over freeview channels.

Its just as easy using WinXP. I dont quite understand what advantage MCE has over the non-Media Centre version.

No, this would require your PC to be on. In order to have your PC off and watch TV you would need an external tuner that can output a VGA or DVI signal. I'm not sure if there are any freeview boxes that output VGA or DVI but you could have a look. Sky and Virgin have HD boxes that output this sort of signal but they require a monthly subscription.

It tilts fine, and yes, 1080p looks stunning on it. :D

Finally someone who has used the tilt function! :D Ive only clicked it back once, with one click does it go back any more?

Can you tell me how I can view some HD content on it? What defines it as HD, I have scanned thru the thread again but see anything.

Many thanks :)

Perfect, cheers marrys up with my 19'' nicely now. Althought it didn't click when I tilted it this time....odd.

Mine never clicked when being tilted.

I get to play this on an epic scale tomorrow, so all is good. :D

Can you DL any off those trailers? Ive not got QT installed either, and didnt really wanna install it just to watch that!

I would suggest VLC, but that fails me for 1080p stuff, so google quicktime classic.
