Batman™: Arkham Knight Performance

BF4 yes, but gta 5? you are reaching. And even BF4 doesn't come close to the disaster of Watchdogs which by the way is still not smooth after all the paching and Batman, game that have to be retired, damn I don't even remember the last time a game had to be retired, ET for atari:p

Are you kidding about BF4 issues, they are still not sorted out now.

I don't recall asking you any questions,

That's why i didn't quote you when i posted the quotes from the review in response to Stanners because i was not talking to you , but that lead to Lamb not being able to follow so i had to quote you in response to him.

There is nothing to get angry about, i didn't post a reply to Stanners in anger i just gave him the information he was asking for :)

I play bf 4 most nights with several guys from here (we each have over 600 hours and a few including myself have over a thousand hours) and we haven't had any issues with it for a looooooooooooooooooooong time in terms of performance and stability, actually that is a lie, a few nvidia users lately have been crashing with the latest drivers (stulid being one of them).... But aside from that, bf 4 is a very solid game, yes it was awful come release and for the first 5/6 months though.

Yes.. 100% agree!

They needs to be a new standard that all PC games should follow that all gamers can enjoy..

You get people say but PhysX etc sells Nvidia GPUs.. But if we just forget about this for a second and have this become one standard fits all...

Gameworks, Anything AMD - Freesync/Gsync these should be for everyone.

GPU manufactures should just be left to build great competitive GPUs and Drivers and let user buy based on performance/Price to fit there needs..

Thats what I would like from an ideal PC gaming platform, and its one of the reason I will not buy from Nvidia because I dont agree with there strategies. I much like how AMD approach the industry.

Nvidia fans dont flame! :D

Yup fully agree with that.

I'm tired of all this lock down **** especially regarding monitors, thankfully only asus and acer (2 brands especially acer that I would rather avoid anyway) seem to be interested in gsync.... I'm sure that the monitor manufacturers don't like what is going on as well, I still think some day nvidia will support adaptive sync. AMD aren't "perfect" but they are by far the lesser of 2 evils afaic.

I agree they should but the sad truth is neither Nvidia nor AMD would bother if they had to 100% share their tech with the other. Sadly thats probably more true for Nvidia :(

That's a by-product of the fact the industry doesn't care enough about you in the first place. If there were enough of us to warrant the priority we should be getting to avoid development issues like this very thread is instigated from, then there would also likely be enough of a market share for our voices to be heard - and likely both bad ports and vendor proprietary technologies would become less common.

Right now that isn't going to happen, so people should suck it up :p

Too right but as is, 99% of the time, true of business...money first, customer second

+1

This freesync vs gsync is just plain stupid, my monitors usually last 10 years, so if I Buy one I have to be sure that all the graphics cards in 10 years will be of the same brand, are you kidding me.

I'm not an avid BF4 player but I have a lot of friends who play and haven't heard them complaining.

If you need to use FS/GS you do but its possible to ignore it altogether if needs be

OMG, I thought this thread was about the performance of Batman. Instead it has turned into a oneup thread. The game has been pulled and will be fixed. Surely there is more to life than hating on each other?

I don't think that's what happened at all.

Skim much, brethren? :D

Sometimes I honestly think if people post more than 5 lines per post then immediately it's a willy war.

omg guyz stop typing

I get the impression that as long as Nvidia and AMD exist, people are going to hate each other! :p

Every single thread I've noticed nowadays turns into an Nvidia vs AMD riot. Surprised it's not started happening in the case and CPU sub-forum!

Performance for me an Arkham Knight started out playable until I got into the batmobile. Hope it gets fixed soon as there's only so much of The Witcher 3 I can take!

Performance for me is great and sitting averages of 60fps with everything on @ 1440P. It is just missing some subtleties that will be sorted. I am loving it though and will carry on playing.

“The AMD Gaming Evolved program is committed to making games look great and run well for all PC gamers,” said Ritche Corpus, director of ISV Gaming and Alliances, AMD. “By working with truly talented developers like Creative Assembly, we deliver on that commitment with fun and beautiful games like ‘Alien: Isolation,‘ which give PC gamers the high-end technology they deserve.”

Bah , Bah , Bah

No, show me ones where dev's have stated that AMD have assisted them.

Anyone can tell you one thing and it be something completely different, didnt you learn anything from the recent Fury rubbish AMD spouted ?

In the case of Alien Isolation and Tomb Raider, isn't it even better if the devs were able to develop the games, which work great across both platforms, without AMD's direct help?

Not hate, just banter:)

It just strikes me as odd that people want to point fingers at Nvidia or AMD when a game doesn't work "as it should" and do everything they can to put blame on the GPU manufacturers. Last time I checked, they both make GPU's and other forms of hardware. The sole blame for me lies at the hands of WB/Rocksteady, as they made and released the game.

Its a thread about performance of a game of both brands of GPU's and just because its been pulled we can still discuss it. Read from the beginning and theres no hate, just banter
