Batman™: Arkham Knight Performance

If NVidia allow the game devs to put their name to something they need to take full and total responsibility.

TWIMTBP says it all, if NVidia endorse something they take the responsibility.

If NVidia don't like the criticism they should get the devs to remove TWIMTBP from the credits.

If anything at the moment in places like the USA I would not be surprised if people are considering suing as they could argue NVidia have misled them by allowing the game devs to use the letters TWIMTBP.

Then you simply have no understanding of how the game industry works mate. In fact the entire premise of that point is completely flawed. How can you take both full and total (very full lol) responsibility for something that's being developed hundreds of miles away from your offices by people that do not work for you. It's one of the biggest titles this year, of course NVIDIA want to sponsor it, but they have zero say in who and what WB Studios do with their resources, and in this case it is them that seemingly don't care about what you think, not NVIDIA.

Why don't you go and blame AMD for the fact Rise of The Tomb Raider is an XB1 exclusive for an entire year even though it will likely have a sponsorship deal with AMD.

NV cant be sued as its not there game, but NV can be blamed for consistently endorsing badly optimized and overly buggy games on release.

But on top of that NVidia blatant misleading with there Batman Physx promotional video with them speeding it up to give the impression that the game runs at 60fps out of the box when it locked to 30fps and you can hear the voices of the NPC's sounding like chipmunks due to the speeding up.

You mean Ubisoft.

Right, ok. Thank you for partly clarifying my point - in that the notion is senseless to blame another party not within your control.

No party is likely completely innocent, but Kaap's idea that this is entirely an NVIDIA problem is completely unfounded.

The publishers that want all the money they can get and ploughing resources into other platforms, or the company that has intent on you wanting to play games on PC. It's certainly a problem for them, but it's highly questionable whether it's their fault. You also have no idea, as neither do anyone in the public domain just how long Ubisofts contract is for and for how many titles.

If its not upto a certain standard then the contract can be broken.

Life's not always that simple I'm afraid. If all we relied on for information and whole truths was clickbait, we'd all likely be millionaires - as life would be so black and white. Not to mention Unity was broken on all platforms at launch, once this was resolved around 1.3 - 1.4, the game is actually very good - including with GW libraries.

That depends on the conditions of the contract and seeing how NV acts as a company there is no way the would not have such a clause in place and the only reason why they are letting it fly is because they have more to gain in GPU sales of the promotion of there brand than the negative association of badly optimized games because even though the game runs is bad it still runs better on NV cards so get an NV card and you get the little extra gfx effects.

They're not associated with bad games, just games that run poorly on PC with or without their association. I won't stoop to speculating the terms of a contract I have no knowledge of, it's clear you've already made a decision without any knowledge of it yourself.

Bottom line is they're not developing the games. I am now going to play the game in question, because it's actually quite enjoyable, bye ;)

Screen Shots rain seems to be working fine. unsure how to uncap the 30fps and remove the motion blur though.

If they endorse the game they take responsibility simple.

If I buy the game based on the fact NVidia have endorsed it as a quality product I have every right to be upset with them.

TWIMTBP lol.

Perhaps NVidia should give away a free GTX 980 Ti with every game code bought to increase sales of this badly written title.:D

Perhaps if NVidia stopped sponsoring garbage they could reduce the price of their cards too.:D

It must be at least a little embarrassing for Nvidia's 'the way it's meant to be played' animation to be played before broken games like Unity and Arkham Knight.

I think they may employ a little more quality control on games they attach their brand to in the future.
