Batman™: Arkham Knight Performance

I'm really unimpressed with the game performance - especially when driving. The first two were great games, and this has a really promising story and great gameplay from the beginning. I just can't bring myself to play any more until performance is fixed.

should be the Nvidia Gameworks Slogan :D

2.3 on metacritic :) Not seen a big release get slammed so badly.

Also see loads of people complainingg their pre order with extra content got downgraded to normal retail the day before launch? Thats a bit below the belt and i thought it was always the reason people gave their money so early?

This game is getting double the negative feedback compared to positive on Steam.

I guess devs should do proper testing before releasing a broken port like this.

I just don't think they give a Damn really about pc gaming anymore. They're pushing the ps4 version. They got all annoyed when they had to fix arkham city

On account of being poor or buggy?

If it's the former I'll just uninstall it. If it's the latter I'll wait for some patches.

No I've heard from people how had high expectations the gameplay is fairly awesome besides the weird choice of FOV, but performance in general is reported as being terrible. Locking the framerate on pc to 30fps is asking for trouble, what were they thinking on a release like this and not specifying this?

Mine is done in 5 mins. Looking forward to seeing how good (or bad) this performs. :p

Batman Arkham Knight – Denuvo DRM Could be the Culprit Behind the Performance Issues on PC

Batman Arkham Knight has been released today, and it’s been gathering rave reviews on almost every major game publication. The console versions of the game have been praised for the high level of visual quality Rocksteady have achieved with the current generation of consoles. While the console versions seem to be gaining positive feedback, the PC version unfortunately faces some performance issues on several computer setups, and on GPUs from both AMD and Nvidia.

Anyone notice this setting? :p

Im guessing all those people who sold theirs for £15 on MM are laughing their heads off.

I'm also seeing lots of people saying when it crashes you have to re downloaded it from steam again - sigh.

Also see you cant switch off motion blur in game either.

Ridiculous.

Guess it explains the shifting of copies to nVidia to make it a 'success'.

It's like the developer just took the money from Nvidia and ran.

Focus seems to be on lead platform mostly, (Which right now is PS4) in terms of sales.

So even with all this nice hardware, generally PS4 games are more polished as that's where the resources are going.

I guess in a few years when PC GPU's / CPU's are so powerful in comparison it won't matter that PC games are unoptimized as the hardware will just power through.

Would be nice if developers did give the PC a fair shake though.
