Batman™: Arkham Knight Performance

Frames uncapped here and running at 1440P ROG Swift with everything maxed including all the Gameworks bits and average of around 60 fps on my Zotac 980Ti. Weird why so many people are having issues. Game is ducking awesome.

Just played a quick 10 mins at lunch. Seemed to run fine. Not uncapped the frame rate yet though. Anyone run into any probs doing this? Saw some reports of the physics not working properly for some people when uncapped.

OFFICIAL ROCKSTEADY ANNOUNCEMENT HERE!
On AK forums, post by Rocksteady:

"Hi all

We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.

We'll update this thread when we've got more info to share.

Thanks
CODA"

I have been playing all day and no problems for me at all. Really running well. I don't get why they capped it at 30fps and that is a stupid thing to do but never really drops below 60 fps when flying + driving about.

Time after time were given the dregs of a game after its console priority. For me personally, I really dont know how many more times I can keep paying for sub standard, broken games which have been constantly *******ized.

I think my PC is slowly going to become my Warcraft machine and consoles for games. Which I think is what most devs want.

Sadly this is exactly where I am with this, PC is just becoming a Dota machine and I'm at the point where I may well sell the whole lot and get a uber downgraded system for Dota, TW series and CoH etc or just use my GS70 Pro.

I've not played it yet, I'm just going by people I've spoken to that have on PC lol

Also I love how people read my name as Silent Scope, it's because it's an awesome game :D

Check out Metacritic, it's clearly got huge issues. The game itself seems to be rather good but the issues are clearly game destroying for others. Hopefully a few patches will solve his.

I've not played it either, but check out what other people on the internet are saying. I'm glad it's tanked, NVIDIA titles are cancer

That was the draft from your frontal lobe before you edited it :p

I didn't say the game didn't have issues, only that it's clearly doing a lot right as well - everyone knows you'd love to look past that anyway lol.

Say it like you mean it RD.

[EDIT] Nice Ninja edit :p

I only edited to add more to my post :D

What is clear is this game should have been delayed. I am thinking now whether i want to buy this on PS4 or PC. It's a shame as for me the PC is my prefered platform but stuff like this forces me into thinking differently.

mmhhmm I'd tend to agree. Part of me doesn't want to ruin this by wading through troubleshooting. I'm even contemplating leaving the framerate capped.

All that aside, it's still going to look awesome at 4K ;)
