Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Saw the leaked trailer earlier this morning. I love the fact it's so dark and making everyone be wary about Superman. And Jesse's voice over is certainly intimidating. But that quote from Batman: "Do you bleed? You will!"

Bring it on! I want the HD version already!!!

Going to go against the grain here and say I don't like the direction this is heading in.

I mean it is being portrayed as Batman centric movie with the main voice over being batman and it putting forward the idea that maybe Superman is the pseudo bad guy and Batman has to 'deal' with him.

On the other hand I wonder if they are going to release a second trailer from the prospective of Superman thinking the same thing about Batman, in other words each thinking the other is the issue that needs to be dealt with but then both coming to the realisation that they are in fact two sides of the same coin.

I really hope the second part above is what's actually going to happen, if not and it just turns into a Batman has to show Superman what's right and wrong then I am not going to like it at all. :(

Are you kidding man? It's superman. He's the all american boy scout, the goody goody!

It seems like he's getting a lot of respect in this movie (swat team kneels at him), and I don't think Batman likes it. Batman might presume supes has an ulterior motive maybe? With all that power, well, batman is obviously going to think the worst.

It's been confirmed they share a handshake in the movie. So they'll have a scuffle, and then realise they both have the same goals, and then they'll start to work together.

Liking the darker tone, batman just looks so goddamn incredible, even though you don't see much of him and it's in SD. I have to say, this looks on a whole other level when you compare it to the light-hearted tone of the marvel movies. Some of the scenes in the trailer were beautiful.

Hope superman IS superman though. I hope he doesn't let people treat him like a god. Should be treated as equals. And I'm also worried about wonder woman now. Hope she's not crap.

Batman only speaks at the very end. "Tell me, do you bleed? You will."

All the other voice overs are news reporters, lex, and possibly alfred.

I was very "meh" until I saw that trailer, and now I'm interested.

Affleck seems to have a bit of a "DiCaprio effect" going on in recent years as well, so I'm hoping his renaissance continues.

Don't think it's so much Supes being the bad guy, just more his total black and white way of seeing things contrasts with that of Batman. I guess batman can see how dangerous Superman could be to the world should he decide he's had enough of our silliness.

Batman on Superman.

It is a remarkable dichotomy. In many ways, Clark is the most human of us all. Then...he shoots fire from the skies, and it is difficult not to think of him as a god. And how fortunate we all are that it does not occur to him.

One of my fave quotes.

Is that Neil deGrasse Tyson speaking the line "We're talking about a being that challenges our own sense of priority in the universe" in the first opening shots?

Love that little tiny bit where you see Affleck in the suits moving out of the shadows with some fire behind him, looking at his build height and suit finally we get a Batman that looks like he can actually handle himself.
