Beat saber

I think I can do Be there for you, with a few more practices, but having not done beat saber for a while, my shoulders are killing me after just a few attempts.

Yeah, it seems to congest a lot more notes that are all over the place, in a smaller space. Some songs technically have more cuts per minute, but have them more evenly spread.

You know how I did it? When I went back playing after Christmas. I said I was going to do an Expert PLus level even if it killed me!! When I started playing again, Expert plus was so fast. I thought it was because I was way out of practice. But after a couple of days, by accident, I realised I had fast notes on!!! At that stage I was bored of the usual levels in OST, so I said I would try "Be there for you" with no modifiers, and I completed it first time.

I haven't finished an expert plus level since then!! :p :D

Lol. I did find expert for many levels far less challenging once I turned fast notes off. Not sure I could even attempt an expert+ with it though. There again, it may help just getting my brain working faster, and maybe fast enough for when I tone it back down.

yes,
PRO tip,, your starting out on Beat Saber, you do Easy, then normal your finding difficult, ,try the next level up a few times, Then go back a level, and your brain slows it down automatically as your used to faster/harder level

have a look on YT, there are a couple of tips to get you to Expert + Level, and that is one of them

the other one is just "practice" mode (which is what i do) put a faster speed on, so 100% is default, put it up by 10, then another 10 etc etc then eventually go back to 100%

Completed my first Expert just now (uptown funk off beastsabre, a fairly easy one compared to some) and my arms are like lead. It is a serious workout compared to hard. Still quite chuffed as it was my first go on expert after trying the hard. Finally bothered to sideload BMBF onto my Q2 and loving it now I don't have to play **** songs

just tried "be there for you" on Expert, i hate the part where it going up down up down up down the of at an angle, up down up down

missed a few, but got 502,000+ wtf?

then tried Expert+
errm , no way

always the way
so i tried to get a score on that song

couldn't do, tried about 6 times, fail every time

finally got a score
right bang in-between you two friends

Done the bugger on expert+. Be there for you. Exactly what I thought, easier to get a good ranking on Expert with modifiers, than to even place with expert+, think I'm around the 51k mark in position.

nice !
how many attempts today?

No idea, wasn't counting. Guess around 20 or so?

My lack of natural rhythm means the really quick sections with lots of notes becomes a bit of a lottery as to whether or not I fail or succeed, but in the more spread out parts I feel I was often building an OK combo.

i feel the same, when it going a bit nuts on expert, im just hoping im getting them, no idea if im doing it correctly, i just guess !
