Beat saber

Few more country rounds attempts, there's really quick sections on angles with differig colours, and I just can't seem to get the right saber hitting the right colour in the right direction. Still, nice that I went back to be there for you, and did it first time.

I think My Quest 2 has a tracking problem. My brother got one for Christmas and I got to try it out yesterday as he brought it over. On his I was able to complete Breezer, Be there for you and Escape in expert plus with decent scores. On mine I can't. I keep missing notes that I am 100% sure I am hitting. It's frustrating as hell.

I have logged a Call with Oculus support to see what they think.

factory reboot, i did and it helped mine

I have already done it twice.

EDIT: did another Beat Saber session today, I cast it onto my TV and got my brother over to watch. He said that there were loads of times I hit the block perfectly but it registered as a miss or wrong hit.

There's times I'm sure I've hit, and it says miss etc, but equally, when I adjust my footing, and pay a bit more attention, I don't get those. I wonder if I basically miss the edge of the block so it doesn't count it, because I don't swipe at just the right time or angle.

Still, let me know.

I wonder if perhaps rechargeable batteries effect the tracking at all?

might be a different thread , as i wanted to quote someone, (cant remember who) saying there arms was like lead

well, Try Camilla, light it up, i cant quite finish it on hard, there's about 2000 notes !

now my arms feel like lead lol

Oh I am sure I miss ones all by myself with no help at all from bad tracking :)

Have tried a lot of things to fix the problem

Different types of AA batteries, different voltages, amp ratings, rechargeable etc and different combinations.
Tried changing room lighting etc.
Changed the refresh rate of the tracking from auto to 50hz and 60hz.
Resetting the Guardian,
Restarting the Quest2 multiple times.
Cleaned the lenses of the cameras.

None of these things made any difference. The only thing that works is a factory reset, but after a few days the tracking gets worse again.

But, I submitted a Call log and have heard back from Oculus Support already. They know of an issue affecting some headsets and are working on a fix.

Which leads me to wonder is there slightly different versions of hardware in some Quest 2s.

Just took advantage of the latest factory reset and managed to beat another Expert plus level in Beat Saber.

Breezer - 362k

Way lower than Unseul, as usual!! :)

I suspect I'd need to use modifiers to break into top 1k, and that's scary... Disappearing arrows might be doable after a lot of practice.

Ah, it's only scary now, after a month or so, even Expert Plus will be slow to you and you will need modifiers to give yourself a challenge.

I just want to be able to say I know a guy who is in the top 1K, so hurry up :p

Lol, I'll try and find the "easiest" expert+ for me then, and give it a go.

Country rounds on expert+ finally done. Missed it by tiny amounts a few timees, then did it twice in a row. I could probably break the top 10k, but would need a good run, and i thnk I'd rather try other songs for now.
