Beat saber

I don't think I'll ever be able to manage an expert let alone expert+. I'm happy if I can complete a level, without missing a block, on hard.

Country rounds on expert+ finally done. Missed it by tiny amounts a few timees, then did it twice in a row. I could probably break the top 10k, but would need a good run, and i thnk I'd rather try other songs for now.

Well done mate :) They are falling rapidly now!!

took me 3 weeks from buying game to FC a song on hard. i can complete nearly all songs on expert now, and almost a few on expert+. rhythm games are addictive!

start playing the 'hard' songs you're good at with the speed+ difficulty option. that will set you up for expert difficulty ;)

I did that this morning with $100 Bills and best so far is completing it with just 1 missed block. Maybe I should not focus so much on trying to get them all and be happy with completing a level regardless.

Working now on commercial pumping, lots of notes in a short song. Gets a bit confusing for me, but I think I can beat it with practice. Can now semi-reliably do country rounds so happy with that.

My tracking is still worse on my Quest 2 than my Brothers Quest 2. It's just not bad enough to get an RMA :(

But, I have found that by turning off the automatically adjust height and using the set height option underneath is better. My tracking is improved in Beat Saber. I actually managed to finish a few songs that I couldn't beforehand.

I came in here to see if anyone had complaints for tracking on the Quest 2. I'm finding on the expert levels where the notes are out wide or high I seem to miss them. This gets worse with fast levels.

My left controller also completely went wrong for around 5 seconds mid game earlier.

I'll try some new batteries in the controllers tomorrow, but mine are still registering around 60%

I do still sometimes think it's my timing rather than the tracking to be honest. Especially as when I feel "on it" I don't tend to miss much, or in levels that I'm now familiar with.

Out of interest to people generally prefer beat saber over synth riders?

I have both but much prefer synth riders especially in force mode, it has a greater variety of music and has many nice options (I love the random song option).

Don't get me wrong both are great but synth riders seems to rarely get talked about.

I just downloaded the Synth Riders Demo a few days ago. The Music is great. And it does make you move a lot more than Beat Sabers. I reckon if I had started with Synth Riders I would have liked it more than Beat Saber. But, now I have so much time invested into Beat Saber, I can't stop!! It's hard for me to find the time to play both.

When you do the original startup of Synth Riders and it setups the room spacing, I wish there was some visual representation of what's happening. I selected 1.2x but I don't know what that means.

Been playing loads of custom tracks now. Some a pretty good, but I always feel like they dont always flow quite as well as the official beat saber tracks. Its still a lot of fun tho and recommend to others whjo are bored of the fairly small library included
