Yes they do, that has been there for ages, but as far as I'm aware they never sold any. There was always talk, but never any actual products went out to US retailers. I guess they decided they would pull out of the GPU market even before fermi was released.

They only seem to be doing a couple of the 400-series. Are they selling those in the US?

I have been chasing my problem with a GTX 295 RMA since the end of May and despite what their web site says, and after speaking to Partners IT (before David Williams terminated the contract with BFG) and Jeff that they never ever made any 400 series cards. This was confirmed only the only day on my TeamSpeak server channel with the US guys who have similar cards. I would suggest that if anyone sees anything suggesting they do, then it is most probably one from another production line from another manufacturer with a BFG label on it.

I too have got a faulty 295. Sent them an e-mail through the 24/7 on-line support which was fully filled in and I stated my problem in great detail but i've not had any reply. It says that they try to answer all queries in a 24 hour time slot but I sent the ticket off last week on Monday.

I'm assuming it's better to give them a call but as they're based in the U.S i'm not sure what time to ring as I don't know where abouts they are based.

Pretty sure the phone number (1.630.637.2459) is manned 24/7, although some have said it is better to phone the day shift. I'd imagine they are based in Illinois like their offices, which is 5 hours behind GMT.

I didn't register my 8800GT OC2 when I bought it, the box says 10 year warranty but I didn't realize I had to register it. It idles at 80c now, guess I'm out of luck with it.

Compulsory registration was only brought in after the 8XXX series, you didn't have to register them to get the 10 year warranty. As long as you still have or can get the proof of purchase you should be fine.

Info here: http://www.bfgtech.com/warranty.aspx

As the 8800GT was introduced around October 29 2007, it doesn't have to be registered to claim on the full length of the warranty.

Oh wow, that's great news for me :D I do have proof of purchase, I will have to setup an RMA, thanks.

How long was the warranty for the GTX 285 cards through OcUK? One year? It's just one month over that. Can it be sent to OcUK and would they do anything to it now (I'm not from the UK)?

From what I read from another forums, it might be that we're quite out of luck with our 10-year warranties.. :( have to try anyway.

I've just had my 8800 GT OC2 break with lots of dots appearing on the screen.
I have had exactly the same thing for about three weeks now. Emailed BFG from their web form and was sent an (automated?) message back asking for my delivery address and serial number etc. So I sent them the details.

I haven't had a reply back for two weeks which is really annoying me.

Do BFG actually bother anymore?

This is the problem, they seem to be making it as hard as possible for people to claim on there warranties.

And most of the time when you receive a card back it's a refurbished card that isn't working properly.

Phone after 3pm BST, then you get their main staff or at least someone who's not half asleep.

They don't seem to reply to emails or the form on the website. So you have to phone - was easy enough though.

Make an account and upload your proof of purchase before phoning. They use your telephone number as a customer identifier.

Once RMA is approved and setup you just wait for your card to arrive. Your account online will show the RMA number after a day or so, but still setup so that it looks as if you need to post your card back first - which you don't.

I'll post when I get mine with the details. As I said eariler, BFG said "a couple of weeks wait" before the new one arrives.

Just made another call to BFG, I have to wait up to 30 days for new card as they have nothing in stock right now, but they can't guarantee anything - not very helpful. I think that it's time to buy other card... and it will be ATI.

I've just phoned them too and I think i'm in the **** here.

I originally RMA'd a 8800GTX, they sent me back a 9800GT that was faulty upon arrival. Gave them another ring and the guy who I spoke to at the time at the Wales depot said he was sorry and was going to send me a 250GT as a goodwill gesture. That arrived about a month late due to them not having stock in the U.K and was faulty so I rang again and as an apology they sent me a brand spanking new BFG 295.

Now that that's gone as well, rang today and the guy asked me for proof of purchase which I obviously don't have for the 295, would I be able to use the 8800GTX receipt from eBay? That's the one I used to RMA that card ages ago. He's also asked me to make an 'account' on their site which I swear I made ages ago for the 8800 but apparently there isn't one but there are my records of my previous RMA's.

Not sure what to do now tbh. :(

Just state very clearly that the GTX295 was from BFG due to the all the dead cards you have been having. It is just that they have a different system now, I personally wouldn't even mention the eBay receipt, it is unlikely they would accept it unless it was purchased from a business. If that is the case, contact them and get a proper VAT invoice.

Provide any previous RMA numbers you have.

Are you certain your system isn't at fault? I mean a couple of dead cards I can understand, but three in a row? Maybe you have a faulty PSU that is killing them?

This is over a 2 year span or so. Kept conking out with VRAM problems with artifacts all over the screen. I've tried different cards in my system and all work fine and tried my faulty one's on me mates systems. I always troubleshoot beforehand to make sure that it's none of my gear that's causing it so I don't look like a **** when sending it off then to find out it's a working card and i'm in the wrong.

Edit:

Just registered the 295, just waiting for an e-mail from then for proof of purchase. The eBay invoice is from PayPal and that's the one I used to do my 8800. Asked the guy when I rang to day to the U.S and he said it was fine.

Glad its not just me being ignored by the email support then. I've not had a working card since May.

I've had 2 faulty cards sent to me to replace mine. Feel like I've been banging my head against a brick wall trying to get some form of correspondence. After numerous emails I just got fed up of having no contact.

I've just got off the phone with them after waiting for 10 minutes on hold (not that bad but sucks when calling from a UK land line) and I'm having another RMA set up but he had no idea what my replacement card would be.

Also said I wasn't going to pay to send the others back and asked for a prepaid label so he's emailing customer services to see what they say. Now I just have to await an outcome.

Shame Jeff's vanished he sorted out the second RMA (although it was faulty but no way he could have known that) within a matter of minutes of my email to him.

If I get a replacement, it's going straight on the bay when I get it. Shame that BFG has gone downhill so much, I still don't understand why they can't do ATi cards. I only bought NVidia due to BFG and their guarantee.

I have a 8800 GT from these guys which i bought i think apre 08 or around that time.

Now would i have had to sign up to there site to have the life time warrenty that was included with the card or what? cos its kinda fried.
