had a well bad fall today! :( only went for a little ride around coastal paths near where i live and just completely miss judged this jump and had to much weight in the front wheel and went straight over and landed on my shoulder :( was no one around at the time but I sat on the floor for about 10 mins saying "ooooooowwwwwwwwww" cant lift my arm fully up so gonna get it checked out Monday if it continues to hurt!

I've had such **** luck lately arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Had a mixed day at Cwmcarn today! Was real good to meet you guys, didnt get to speak to you much as I ate major crap into a tree second run due to my forks, so spent the morning swapping them over. By the time I got back it was dinner then I managed to get on opposite lifts to everyone! Called it a day and left as my chest was giving me greif! Either way had a few good runs and was real nice to speak to all that was there! Deon, if you wanna come down and do some uplifts with a few of your mates gimme a shout! :)

Aye had a fun day! Wasnt expecting just riding downhill to be so tiring but it really did take it out of me. First run was a bit sketchy but it got better from then on each ride :D

I'd love to go to Cwmcarn. A few guys from a biking forum I visit are going there sometime during the week, I can't get the time off work:(

Did my March century yesterday, solo, freezing cold again all day :(

Almost crashed a couple of times on ice patches, and got chased by dogs a couple of times too. Worst was as I was slogging my way up a climb in my lowest gear, heard a rustling noise behind me, look over my shoulder and I'm being charged by a pitbull-esque type dog. Quick acceleration up the hill required!

Back to the Hope Tech V2 question, anyone tried them?

Can't remember where the nasty dog chase was, maybe :D

Ordered the Tech V2's as the wiggle 15% off deal only had another couple of hours to run.

Does anyone know where I can get a clear see through front crud catcher?

I've looked everywhere ,only ones I can find are not fully see through.

Anyone know of one at all?

Thanks

My chain has stretched on my single speed and on Friday it came off mid ride, not good on a single speed!

I managed to get it back on and carried on with my ride however I need to move the back wheel further back in the drop outs to tighten the chain.

This is fine and easy you say... well there are 4 bolts I believe, I've undone 3 and I've got a 4th left that I've about rounded off. It's the bigger one in the dropout, I'm using a top peak multi-tool at the moment and I just can't get it off.

Any suggestions on how to get this off? I don't want to completely round the bolt off. Also, what size bolt is it and where can I get a replacement?

My bike is a Specialized San Fransisco Globe 1.

Cheers.

If it's the axle bolt I THINK it will be a 15mm but I know its got those adjustable drop out things with allen bolts as well? A picture might help but if its the allen bolt that you have rounded, then you might have to drill it out and source a new one. If you're not comfortable with that sort of thing I would take it to a bike shop and let them have a look, It will probably only take them 5 minutes and be fairly cheap.
