Dont know how good the da bomb hub is and i havent came across the GI rim in my travels. This would be my combo.

721 rims are pretty **** hot,basically a 729 with a squarer profile and is ,arugably,stronger than the 729 because of the square edge.
Pro2 hubs are well rated,some people complain of bearings failing quickly but on the whole its a good hub and the converters are easy enough to come by.

it says kinesis on the tube near the front mech it's about 27lbs but could be lighter when i wear these oem fire xc's out and get some real kevlar ones. i have to make sure the tyres are always abouve 40psi or it feels really squishy like there's something loose so i keep them at about 45psi. i think they get harder and softer depending on altitude, or maybe i'm just nuts heh it's a great bike to ride a real trail eater 
, I know its not great but compared to my ancient saracen that couldnt change gears its pretty awesome for me
