Where are you based?
I might go for it - I'm in Nottinghamshire. If your miles away see how much it costs to post and i'll sort it :)

EDIT: For the brackets, do you know what I need to look for?

Yeah makes sense, could get some fibreglass tapes for the crack anyway. My dad has all of the spray equipment so just need the paint and brackets.

That's the kit you'll need to fit them to the bike.

Edit: You beat me to it.

It was sunny since the morning, at around 11:40 all of the sudden the sky went cloudy/dark grey and snow started pouring for like 5-10min. Then it stopped and sun came out again, wtf is wrong with this weather?

BTW To the Hood Kevlar Jeans owners, how accurate are the sizing's to the actual size? I buy jeans size 34L, would it be the same for the Hood Jeans?

I'm in Southampton. I've checked royal mail and using rough guesses it says it would be about £13 postage for a 48 hour job

edit: had a 2 min hail shower here and that was it

We had a mad hail storm yesterday t time but it's been bright & sunny all day here so far, ****** cold though so I'm protecting my chest by staying in & catching up on some chores I've neglected over teh last couple of months.
I did get some VHT paint I ordered so when the house chores are caught up with I'm going to have a go at the black on my bike & see if this stuff is any good, I got spray as well as a tin of it so I should be able to tart it up quite nice.
How it looks now,

Don't know about the denim ones but the combat style ones are pretty much spot on in waist size at least.

Ah a bit far away then. I need to wait for a quotation to fix my garage doors and i'll then be able to make a decision on the fairings, I don't mean to leave you hanging mate - just need to be sure that I would actually have enough money to get them is all!

Over here (Doncaster) it has hailed, sleeted and rained and is windy like a savage. Glad I didn't use my bike today.

We've had hail, rain and glorious sunshine. I didn't remember to pick up my waterproof trousers this morning so come 5pm it better be back at the glorious sunshine stage.

It was snowing down here a little while ago...

For the jeans, don't order your normal jean length, how tall are you? I'm 6ft 3 and need long leg jeans, my hoods are 36" in the leg which sits just right once the armor is in and your leg is bent. Waist size they are generously cut, that's the non denim jeans though. I had to send my 34" waist ones back for 32" waist. They were really helpful though, great service.

No worries mate :) I've been meaning to sort them out but I can wait a week or so

I'm just over 6ft1, I usually wear 34L (too long, but regulars are too short)

I bought my Hoods to my normal size, othersize when I walk around, they'll drag under my shoes and wear extremely quickly (they're my daily wear jeans @ work). They're absolutely fine and don't lift much when I sit on my Speed, at least not enough to look silly or be uncomfortable anyway.

Yeah my legs are probably more bent on the CB400 than your speed, they're sportsbike level bent, but then I wear 33/34" inside leg jeans normally so 36" isn't a big increase. They're a little long when walking but don't drag or anything.

Looking at the cb400, looks like a similar leg bend.

Also, the Hoods will stretch eventually, so you would get a naturally stretched out bit at your knee after a while.

67 vs 70 degrees on cycle ergo, so a bit - makes a difference though. My legs are basically bent as much as a 600 supersport bike :( Do you have the denim jeans or the trousers? Mine haven't stretched at all, I wear them most days at work too.

I'm still ducking phone calls from companies wanting me to make a claim on an accident I had last year, it's crazy how many times I get called a week.
