It's bitter here but dry & sunny so I'll wait till a bit later before I decide whether I'm going up to Hoars farm again this week. If I do I'll take my camera this time & get some better pics. Looking out the window there's still ice on the car screen & the shed roof so I'm pretty damn pleased I didn't have to go out early.
If I don't go out then I'll get some paint out & have a go at the black, S'pose I should just be grateful that I'm feeling well enough to do stuff.
 
Had to scrape the ice off my seat before I got on it this morning :confused: Have I slept for so long it's winter again!?
 
I like how warm my thermals keep me but they are too thick to wear under my jeans, struggled getting my leg over the bike lol :p would Base layers be as warm even though they aren't as thick?
 
Merino wool base layers, I swear by them.

We've just had a snow shower here in Kent, I mean c'mon!!!

I must admit I broke out the textile trousers with thermal liner this morning, and merino wool top under my leather jacket.

I couldn't see 3 feet in front of me on the way home last night, heavy hail then turned to heavy snow so I was crawling along a DC at 30mph wiping my visor every five seconds and trying to keep it upright while feeling like I was rolling over marbles.

Not fun.
 
Has any got opinions on the Wings exhausts compared to the akra?

I read on a forum that guy who makes the wings stuff used to work for Akra, but went solo?

For the 701, the wings slip on is less than half the price...

For the most part a slip on is a slip on is a slip on, you're paying mostly for the name and sticker.

Full system or 2T stuff is a little different.
 
Stock on the 701 sounds a bit meh, but wings / akra slip on sound a lot nicer. For some reason, the akra 701 "official" slip on is selling at over £700... I can't really justify that.
 
So the hail in Doncaster looks like snow on the ground now...

I took my bike today, if it doesn't rain, how the hell am I supposed to get home? I'm really worried now, because being a new rider and all. Suggestions?

I need to go at 7pm today...
