You'll be fine, also plan plan plan act like your brakes don't exist so you've got to gently slow down.

There's plenty of engine braking on the SV so make the most of it.

Saying all this if it's just loose hail/snow it won't actually be that bad just act like it's wet, it's when it gets compacted and becomes ice that it's an issue.

That is my main worry, where I work has one massive road and everyone goes up/down it so will be icy I would have thought.

Thanks again mate. Will take it as steady as possible.

put both feet down and ride along slow if its slippy,be carefull your foot doesn't slip away from you aswell and over you go when you come to a stop, ive done that a few times

use your back brake and not your front ect

I've never really been happy with my throttle, has a lot of play which I've tried to get rid of but I think my cable is doing odd things. I can pull the cable out about 5mm then it pops backs in with a twist, is that normal? This is without loosening the nuts.

Seriously, there's something wrong with this weather... I got out of my house it was warm, all of the sudden it went cloudy a cold wind (like the winds you get in winter) and it started snowing. A bit later, the sun came out of clouds again and it was warm again, I mean really? :( I hope the weather sorts its ****** out in May, if my Mod1 or Mod2 gets cancelled because of hail or snow I'm going to be ***** off.

Hopefully we'll have longer spring/summer this year...

I'm a foreigner, I'm still trying to understand your weather. But it seems that's not possible considering how much the weather can change during a day, not to mention a week or a month. lol

Although, I must admit... you can talk to anyone about weather and they just follow on. Quite a popular topic too! :p

Haha, for us Brits the weather is a national pastime!:p

They explained it a little the other day, the air up high is very cold and when the storm clouds come over they cause the air temperature to drop, which means... snow. then after it's snowed it's back to 10 degrees!

It's meant to be warming up next week, 14-15 degrees.

Has a piece of that snapped off ?
Shouldn't there be a piece that comes through the middle circular piece & threads into your throttle housing ? You can then adjust it properly & then lock it off with the circular piece.
What does everybody else think ?

It does look odd, don't think I've seen a metal adjuster butt up to the plastic switch housing, usually the adjuster is a few cm down the cable

The adjuster threads into the throttle housing & then you lock it off with the circular piece/locker.
If you look close you can see damage in the plastic on the throttle housing which is where the thread of the adjuster was pushed back on to when it snapped off.
